I am the fire starter

Sabrina had left the one sith, she was looking for new way in the world. She had heard of a mythical animal named the phoenix, a creature reborn from fire. This idea appealed to her, and the idea of being in reborn in fire rising from her ashes had more than a little romance to her. She decide to look for teacher in art of fire dancing. She had heard of one, in the outer rim called [member="Malachite Avachei"], she decide to hunt him down. She eventually found him on remote world of ventooine, famed for crystals.

She booked passage to the planet on a civilian transport, so not draw attention to herself. After few days, hiding from galaxy in her room. She made it to planet, and began her search for the man. she asked around, in hopes to get a lead on him. Though she knew if she asked enough people, he may find her.

I was totally exhausted. I'd elected to sleep in a hotel instead of my ship, because I just hadn't thought I'd be able to walk all the way to and into my ship. At least there was a taxi for the hotel, which dropped me off right in front. When I got upstairs, I holed up in the room and just slept.

The next morning, a bellhop came up and told me that a woman had been looking for me. I shook my head, and tried to deal with my hangover before the woman came back, telling the bellhop to send her up if she did. With all the little things done, I dceided to deal with the biggest problem: I couldn't burn the alcohol out of my blood.

She head up to the room, that the bellhop and told her to head to. When she entered, she found a man he was need of a bath. He stunk of stale alcohol, no doubt he was still drunk from night before. Half of her wanted to open his curtains, but that would not be nice and she was trying to turn over a new leaf. So she down just upwind of him, as she did not like the smell of his body odor. She then asked I believe you know how to create fire, using the force. Is this true, and if so what would you want in return? She wanted to get right down to it, as he need a shower to say the least.

I smiled, and scratched at the stubble on my cheek, walking towards the bathroom, which had a new set of clothes and a bathrobe in it. Then, as I looked at this woman, I realized who she was... A rather infamous Sith, to say the least. I closed the door to the bathroom, and called back to her from there.

"Of course it's true. The Golden Fox can use fire as he pleases, some say. Others say he's a hoax. But nobody knows what the fox says, himself."

I heated my whole body up, killing bacteria and smelly things all over me, and then put my new clothes on. A sleeveless shirt, vest, and a pair of pants with a lot of pockets. Stepping out, I bowed theatrically, my tail waving.

"And I say, I will teach you. It will prove... interesting."

I raised an eyebrow, and poured myself some coffee, winking at the woman.

"Isn't that right, Miss Kotass? Or should I say, Lady Banshee?"

[member="Dux Kotass"]

Please call me sabrina, I no longer use the name banshee. She had left the order, and wanted to at least prove she trying to turn over new leaf. Though she doubted many would believe her, her few others were trying to regroup and make a new order of force user. Though they may not get much head way, it was worth the endeavour.

She then continued to talk Yes it would prove interesting, and I know a few tricks I might be able to teach you return. She did not want to feel indebted to the man, so she was willing to negotiate on some payment for his serves.

[member="Malachite Avachei"]

So she was no longer a Dark Lord? I filed that information away for later. It could prove useful.

"Okay, then, Sabrina. What is it you wanna know? Channeling? Heat? Projecting?"

I sipped at my coffee, and looked at the woman, my tail waving around near my feet.

I would like to learn it all, it would be useful to us. To use she meant her new order, the order of the phoenixs. They wanted this knowledge as a signature forcepower, as what better way to say they been reborn in fire. She sipped some water, as she waited to hear his price for the lessons.

I shook my head, and took another gulp of coffee. She didn't understand. They never did.

"Sabrina, as powerful as you are, you will never be able to teach others pyromancy. Those who try to seek me out don't realize that I am nearly seventy years old. Still pretty young for my kind, but old in your eyes. It took me fifty of those years to be able to do what I'm offering to do now. You don't have that time, if you want to make a difference."

I poured myself some more coffee, and sat up on the dresser, swinging my legs a little.

"Your Order of the Phoenix needs this power to live up to its name, eh?"

She smiled and nodded her head, and said Yes as living up to what you are, is important no matter what anyone says. I want to be able to teach, something other than crushing. I want order to abandon lighting, as that is a sith trait. To do these things, I need to b able to replace it. Fire is good substitute, don`t you think. She decide to explain her rational to him, as he deserves to know why she seeked him out.

I nodded and smiled back, and sipped more of my coffee while I observed Sabrina trying to convince me. She didn't need to. I put my cup down, and sat next to her, and put a hand on her shoulder so she could feel the warmth.

"Look, it's not that I can't or won't teach you, but the innate and instinctive usage of the fire isn't something you'll be able to teach for a long time. Possibly never. I can't make your body or your mind understand faster. There are some who were born to the art. Many of my species are."

I let the sparks on my hand dance over her. They would not burn her. It was simply so that she could slowly be exposed to my power.

"I can feel the Force in you... Fire, ice, dark, light... You've done far more than I ever have. You can do more than I can... But teaching younglings to dance with fire is not one of them."

[member="Dux Kotass"]

Then would you join us, and teach us the way of fire. She was offering him chance to join the order of phoenixs, she need something to show people the power of phoenixs. This was best power for it, as they sith reborn in fire. If she could not teach it, she would need someone who could. It seems he was their man, the question is would there be a price for his serves.

I appeared to think about Sabrina's request, although I already had my answer. Of course I was going to join them. I had no other place. I tapped her on the nose like a little kid.

"Of course I will. I'm surprised you didn't just ask."

Laughing, I got up and went back to my coffee, pouring another mug for Sabrina.

"Here. I bet dealing with that idiot bellhop made you tired."

[member="Dux Kotass"]

He was rather tiresome, She replied with grin she had recruited some one to the order. That was worth a lot to her.
She took a sip of her coffee, it is was rather bitter. Though she mind it, that much. She then asked him, So when can we begin the training?

[member="Malachite Avachei"]

I gestured at the sparks that were now dancing along Sabrina's shoulders, and finished my coffee, setting the cup down, again.

"It began when I touched you. Those sparks are manifestations of my energy. Probably leeching some of your energy away, too. In an hour or two, they'll attempt to ignite through you, and that is when the fun part begins."

I let my eyes burn gold, and the sparks began to move about on me, as well. It felt good.

[member="Malachite Avachei"]

Erm do you care to elaborate? She was concerned by, everything he had just said. Though moment she feels okay, she was unsure how she would feel, in say an hour or so.

I rolled my eyes, and grinned.

"They're not gonna burn you, or blow you up, or anything. The energy leeching is the same as if you'd made the sparks yourself. Honestly, I don't even notice it, anymore. You're strong enough that it won't bother you too much. At some point, though, you will probably fall asleep. Usually, it happens after you manage to channel the spark. You'll wake up with something resembling a hangover."

She was little more relaxed by what he had said, though that was not hard. She had heard of sith rituals killing the person, trying to perform them before know. The way he said it, was more than just a relief for her. She sipped her coffee, and asked So we have couple of hours to kill, before this begins to work. So may I ask how did you learn this power?

I nodded, and leapt from the dresser with the coffee machine on it, to the bed.

"Well, once upon a time, there was a little blonde furball named Malachite. The furball was taught to eat fire as a baby, and ended up liking the taste so much that he started trying to see if the thumb he sucked could also go on fire. It did."

I stood on my hands against the wall for a little bit, still talking. The coffee had given me too much nervous energy.

"The village elder saw me eat fire, and thought he could use me to keep the people from the city away. So, I kept on eating fire, and I kept on spilling fire from my hands, and I became the wonderful specimen I am."

I winked at Sabrina, and smiled. Of course, I was joking. Nobody would ever know how I'd been trained, or what happened to me in the half-century I'd been in the village. Ever.

She started to feel something, in the air it was getting colder. No wait it was not air getting colder it was her she was warming up, she felt like she was on fire. She turned to the man, I am going out to balcony. She headed straight out on to it, she began to rub her hand together. Slowly at first then faster and faster, her hands where getting warmer they were becoming red hot. She then started to move hands apart, still moving them at a pace though. As she did a Yellow ball, began to appear. She then throw the ball into the air, and then all went black....

I nodded, and watched as the yellow ball flew into the air, and imploded, fading away. Then I saw Sabrina collapse, and I walked out to the balcony. After picking her up, and putting her on the bed, I sat down in the cushy chair next to the bed, and suddenly felt exhausted. The fireball had taken a good bit of energy out of me, too.

So, I fell asleep in the chair, next to the bed, where my first-ever student was sleeping.
