The captain of one of the well own pirates group known as the slicing Ropo was waiting around. His frigate was stationary, as he watched space. This was an unknown region of space, so hiding away was simple.

When his prey comes down this way, he would strike. Yet, until that time came. He would be petting his Ropo spet as he watched the stars.

An alarm when off on the side of a bed. A single furry paw came up from the sheets and searched until it met with the clock. Bright teal eyes blinked open and emerged from under the sheets. She groaned and sat up, looking around her room within Diva. " Cog ," she rubbed her eyes and looked around. "Cog...," she plopped back on her bed and sighed. "COG!" her scream echoed through the corridors. The clanking of feet could be heard from the distance as a small battle droid entered the room. "Miss Sprockette?" the droid bleeped. "What took you so long," she blinked and scratched her eyes again before sitting and standing up. "Where are we? Did we receive any leads," she slipped into her tiny sandals and shuffled off through the corridor. The battle droid followed behind quickly. "No, Miss Sprockette, though there has been a rumour in the holonet of rare metal in a nearby system named Solovarna. Perhaps it would prove an acceptable opportunity?" he chirped.

She scuffled across the floor and headed toward a kettle and tea cup. She started the brew and set her working space looking to Cog. "How rare? The expensive kind?" she watched the kettle steam up. "I believe so. The source explain it is quite rare and highly durable." he tilted his head. "How difficult is the jump there? Is the place safe?" she tilted the spout as the hot tea poured into her cup. "Not much is known of the system, but there is no significant indication that it would be a problem, Miss Sprockette." She turned to him briefly and sipped her tea thoughtfully. "Plot a course, then." The battle droid nodded, "Yes, Miss Sprockette," and clanked off to do so.

She waited for him to disappear around the corner before she sat down in a seat nearby; setting her cup down on a table.

With the Soltaran people of Solovarna being exposed to the galaxy community, a lot of things were about to change. That was why the leaders of the Counicl had all been summond back to the capital city of Indagora, to discuss the matters to be settled and established after having been united into the Galatic Republic. Many issues were being debated and discussed among them, from trades routes to the use of their forces in a coming war, to the protection the Republic would give to Solovarna should they be invaded. Even the need for the advanced technology of the galaxy should they be attacked by raiders. It was clear even the weakest of the species in the galaxy could gain the advantage over the Soltarans if they had the right weaponry.

As all this was disucssed in the council, Lyzia Hudna, the Soltaran representative, sat in silence as they bckered and talked over this and that. To her this was getting nowhere and fast. She hated that she had to come back here from Courascant in order to help bring the issues back to the Senators in the Republic, but at the very least she'd be going back when this was all over. But lords did she wish for something else to be happening right about now. Thankfully an agent asked her to accompany him over a major matter, to which Lyzia snuck out of the council.

The agent walked with her and explained "We've just recived reports of a ship heading into our system. We've not heard any word from them as of yet and we fear an attack." in the Soltarian language.

"Careful now." Lyzia said, walking with him. "We don't want to throw that word around. Might make a big mistake if we fire on them just as they firing on us. For now let's just keep trying to hail them. See if they answer. If not then prepare a party to meet wherever they land. We'll see how it goes from there."
