Ever since the Battle of Dubrillion , things haven't been the same for the Sith Empire. The loss of almost a dozen of worlds despite their victory at Borosk has taken a considerable blow to their morale and now as New Imperial Forces approach their capital they become more and more desperate to find a way to defeat the seemingly unstoppable New Imperial Braxant Offensive. As the New Imperial Order and the Sith Empire prepare for the final battle at Bastion , some have begun to look away from the Braxant Run and look into other possibilities against the Sith.

Such a person is Commodore Marlon Sularen who with the approval of New Imperial High Command has devised a daring plan to disrupt the flow of supplies headed for Bastion. Under his command , a significant New Imperial Task Force spearheaded by the NIV Predator and the NIV Dauntless have moved into the Sith-Imperial Portion of the Hydian Way Hyperlane evading the Sith-Imperial Hydian Way Task Force and preparing to make their first strike against the Sith Empire in the region.

Their target , a significant Sith-Imperial Convoy escorted by a rather small fleet commanded by Moff TV-771 "Bishop" onboard his flagship , the Trident. As New Imperial Forces move in to ambush the Sith-Imperial Convoy and it's escorts , local forces and elements of the Hydian Way Task Force move in to intercept the New Imperial Task Force as a victory for the New Imperial Order can open up a second theatre against the Sith Empire , something the Sith-Imperial can not afford to allow. Thus begins the Hydian Way Skirmishes

OOC Information ​

Hello there fellow writers , this is an expanded version of an idea i had a while back involving partaking in this thread and ambushing some Sith-Imperial Convoys there. In addition to that , this thread would mostly be utilized to expand the current Third Imperial Civil War with more skirmishes outside the main invasion while also offering our fellow fleeters from both factions with an opportunity to duke it out once more outside the main Campaign.

Essentially how this would work is that Marlon Sularen's Task Force mainly composed of smaller vessels such as Corvettes , Frigates and Cruisers outside the Predator and the Dauntless would move forth to destroy the Sith-Imperial Convoys or atleast prevent their escape while the Sith-Imperials would try to stop the Raid and attempt to rout the Task Force.

To ensure that there are no problems regarding Fleet size i would advise bringing a maxmimum total fleet length of 8km to ensure that this would go smoothly and that there are no complaints about someone bringing like 50 Vessels to this thread.

That being said i hope you guys like this idea and find some fleeting partners down below and if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me either here on the site or on discord [THE Legend #7245]. If we manage to get enough interest in this idea i might put up the thread in 2 or 3 days and depending on the results of that thread i might make a sequel skirmish if there is still enough interest in this idea.

The New Imperial Order isn't exactly "Unstoppable". Winning Two Invasions (Kudas btw) does not mean your unstoppable.

IC'ly I conclude that the TSE wouldn't be desperate considering we still have three times the industrial output of what Thaelius would call your:

"Little Rebellion"

Eh, I just don't feel like that statement is true, it's more Imperial Propoganda than actual IC facts.
