Description: Hotshot Rifles require several specific components for manufacture. Including reinforced alloy barrels to withstand the greater heat produced during rapid firing, thermal cooling cells to prevent the weapon from overheating, and gyro stablized power packs. Known As Hot-Shot Blaster Rifles (Or More Commonly) Hellguns These high-energy weapons are more potent and destructive than common blasters, drawing on external power sources for a more penetrative shot , but also more complex components. The weapon operates at the 30 Megajoule range. It draws energy from the backpack's power supply via a cable at the bottom of the weapon's rapid discharge generator. The Basic model also includes optics with X4 Magnification with a low-light infra scope. The rifle's overpowered shots also produce an incredible mussle flash which reveals the firerer's position and the delicate calibrations required to keep the scope functional leads to many troopers simply disabling it. Despite these features the weapons requires a lot of maintenance to keep functional, and already has a reputation for being unreliable. Massive amounts of stress are placed on the rapid fire generator leading to a drop of rate of fire during extended use on a battlefield , and the power couplings wear easily leading to variable power in shots and the risk of violent explosion . Despite the cooling shroud the massive heat caused by this rifle causes stress on the barrel , this can cause warping and loss of acuracy after repeated uses , though an automatic cut off switch will kick in to prevent the weapon from being fired untill it returns to normal temperatures. The weapon also produces tremeneous noise, often referred to as a "Hellish Screaching" Leading to its popular name "The Hellgun"

BlasTech Industries
  • BlasTech Industries are owned by [member="Danger Arceneau"], which means you're in luck. Just do as asked, and this should be fine.

Just make sure you add tags ( Arceneau Trade, ATC) .
So add BlasTech tags to the sub, and we're good.

Armor Piercing
  • What kind of armor Quality did you have in mind for this?

That won't fly.

SW universe has a number of metals/materials that are capable of withstanding lightsabers, and there are numerous others who can take one hell of a beating.
Refer to the below excerpt from the armor template:
Quality: (Armor class is a measure of general stopping power. Most light armors would be classified as 1-4, most medium armors would be classified as 5-7, and most heavy armors would be classified as 8-10. However, rare or primitive materials, among other factors, can also affect armor class. For example, stormtrooper armor would be class 5, Mandalore's armor or beskar'kandar would be class 10, and a specially forged suit of personal armor for a high-ranking Force user could be anywhere from class 6-9 or thereabouts, depending on how much effort went into it. Many people choose lower armor classes for their custom armor in a trade off for more powerful equipment or specialized resistances, or simply for more mobility.)
I figure up to Quality 6/7 is fine. Anything above that, and you'll have to do dev.

Just remember that the final say on the damage taken will always be up to your writing partner, not you. :)

Approved.
