Every soldier has a sidearm. Without one, they are just unprepared rookies. The HPX-7 aims to be the image one thinks of when they hear the word sidearm. This heavy blaster pistol packs a serious punch and is the chosen blaster pistol of SAGA Teams throughout the Sith Empire. This pistol is enhanced with an internal gyro-gimbal which aids in recoil control. Without it, the HPX-7 might fly back into an untrained consumer's face and that would be bad for business. Along with this, a blaster sight was incorporated. Just a slight trigger squeeze, not enough to fire a shot, will activate the blaster sight from within the barrel. While this blaster pistol is a powerful pistol, it is not without it's faults. As it is still but a pistol, the range is limited and isn't really viable for sustained combat. However, should you get into close quarters with your enemy or your primary weapon be low on ammunition, the HPX-7 is a brilliant secondary.
