How to Join a Faction?

How does one join a faction? Is there an application process or can you just join?

You just find the faction you want and click join . Then you can start a thread or join the threads they have. A lot of them have discord servers so you can chat with members too.

For super-cool factions like the Confederacy of Independent Systems, all you have to do is click 'join.'
