DESCRIPTION
A PMC prides itself on the appearance of its soldiers. In the modern era, such forces are more regimented, better trained, and have higher standards than the mercenaries of yesteryear. Horizon PMC is one such company. With the expertise of Ignus Industries at its back, as its parent organization, a new armor was crafted to provide their forces with a formidable look and pristine cut as if to say "Don't mess with us or you won't like the results" while also saying "We've got you covered, civilians. We'll handle this." The Horizon AE-01 armor capitalizes on the modern era of armor construction, creating something both flexible and functional, while enhancing battlefield performance through the use of the HUD and IFF. A life support system and the polarizing lenses further add flexibility to the armor's use, making it ideal for the frontline soldiers that Horizon fields to its contracted parties.

The system is not without drawbacks. Compared to most standard medium armors it is quite heavy, but provides the upper end of defense. It is not impervious to weaponry, like most armor, and provides only negligible resistance to a lightsaber. These are not super soldiers, but individuals that need protecting on the battlefield. This armor was specially designed for them, and is mass produced in standard humanoid sizes for the use of Horizon PMC only.
