STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

[Strapping Young Lad] Horace is a man of unparalelled charm, adventurous spirit and great strength. For a middle-aged Toydarian.
[Stacked Deck] Horace is a lucky son of a gun. Or maybe this is a completely superficial strength. Either way, he's good at Pazaak.

[Not Entirely Stupid] Horace passed his how-to-be-moderately-clever degree at uni with flying colours, qualifying him to make good decisions from time to time.

[Four Livers Down] Horace has a fondness for Jawa Juice, or as some would say, a 'worrying addiction.'
[Bit Of An Arse] Does what it says on the tin.

APPEARANCE:
A muscular god is what describes Horace, if you're a blind compulsive liar. Nonetheless, he's a fairly lean specimen with bright green skin, a fine, luxurious beard of glossy auburn and stunning eyes as orange as, well, an orange. Also, he has wings. Nothing out of the ordinary at all.

BIOGRAPHY:
Horace Hadsworth was born aboard a spaceship to Charles Hadsworth, a pirate as strapping as he, and Jenny, a fairly uninteresting woman. Not much happened for sixteen years, and then he became a pirate in his own right with some success, receiving three death warrants and an arrest over the course of twenty years while burning, pillaging, thieving and bedding the ladies through his trademark charm; this all ground to a halt when he was arrested for the second time after a high speed chase. However, his captors forgot one thing.

Horace Hadsworth always had a plan. Or at least a good aim, when it mattered. Clearly this was a lie, as in this case he had neither and spent four years in prison.

Upon his release, he was handed the keys to the Surprise, four-hundred and fifty-three credits, a penknife and a photo of him, Jenny and Charles from their holiday to Space Station 542.

That's as far as he's gotten as of yet.

SHIP:
The Surprise, a Tachyon-class light freighter that serves as his pirate ship of choice. It doesn't hit too hard or move too fast, but it was bloody well cheap.
