Hook practices Jar'Kai; wielding two lightsabers instead of one. His father had practiced the same form of lightsaber combat.

Sadly, Hook's father disappeared, so now he is without a master. While he knows how to swing two lightsabers, he isn't very skilled at it. He's relied more on his fists and blades instead.

Overall Appearance: Hook is a very unappealing man with a body of shrapnel and burn scars. His hair is missing in some places on his head and his right eye is completely missing while his remaining one already cannot see very well. His skin is tan and red in some places from previous burns. For the most part, he seems nearly expressionless; maintaining eye contact with the person he is speaking to at all times. On his back is a large, branded number symbol representing the organization he worked for and the number he was given to identify him.

Both of his legs are nearly disabled and he relies on a brace to keep him standing up and walking. They are made out of a cheap but stable material that stretches to his knee; ending at a hinge and continuing down his leg to his ankles. These are connected at his waist and can be taken off with a key.

-Bio-

Birthplace: Jakku
Siblings: None
Parents: Mother is dead. His father was a Jedi Master and is presumably alive.
Ship: Kagwa-Class Superiority Fighter

Strengths/Weaknesses:
(+)Hand-to-hand/Melee combat: Hook is a master at melee combat. His strength is outstanding and his reflexes are sharp, but he usually hears the enemy before he sees them, so a stealthy opponent is his weakness.

(+)Endurance: Despite his body's condition, he can last a while in combat. There's only a few ways to make him give in. His legs are a weak point as they're only capable of walking with a brace, so breaking it would disable him, but he usually protects them for his own sake.

(/)Family Man: Hook has been the victim to slavers in the past. He'd lost his wife and son to them, so he may hesitate to kill a man with a family of their own. Just like driving, hesitation can be dangerous. However, it may allow him to gain allies with those that he doesn't kill.

(-)Disability: After his craft crashed, Hook was heavily injured. Both of his legs were badly damaged and they can only move with the assistance of a brace. He can't run, and the fastest he can move is at a jogging pace. This is, as mentioned, his weak point. Destroying the brace restricts him from walking, but he lightly protects it with salvaged armor.

(-)Impaired Vision: When his ship crashed, Hook lost his right eye when half of his face burned, so he has a big blind spot on the right side of his face and his depth perception is off. This restricts him from using ranged weapons that well.

History: When Barry was around 30 years old, his family was attacked by slavers; losing the only people he loved. They refused to take him because of his injuries. For two years before, his ship had crash landed on a return to Jakku near his home. His wife was able to help him to a certain point, but unfortunately, he was to be permanently disabled.

After his family was gone, Barry fell into a deep depression and the only way for him to receive food was scavenging for valuables and selling them; barely getting enough for himself. He'd nearly given up hope with both his condition and the series of unfortunate events that lowered him to a scavenging level. His name was shamed, his loved ones were gone, his ship was destroyed, and his home was ransacked. He had to find another way to receive payment or he wasn't going to live much longer.

Anger and hate enveloped him and he vowed to exact revenge on those that broke him. He was going to disappear. Barry Corsair was to cease existing.

Crafting a helmet from salvaged armor, the broken man hid his face and left his home; gathering enough rations to last him a week on his trek through the desert. He was going to find somebody to hire him. Somebody to pay him to get his hands dirty. Barry knew bounty hunting brought in serious money, but it was risky. However, he knew what he was getting into and he was prepared for it. He'd have to buy a ship first though....or steal one.

45 years old, Barry Corsair no longer existed and is believed dead after seemingly disappearing off the face of Jakku. It is believed that he was brought into slavery, and he is nearly forgotten. Without any further evidence of his existence, the past is dead and the future is sought after.

A strange man in a mask returns to Jakku-silent; speaking with his actions. He was a bulky man of muscle and he walked with a hobble. The heavy shoes on his feet clunked against the floor beneath him as he made his way through the bar that had gone silent after his sudden appearance.

One word was spoken, but muffled by the helmet. Suddenly, the subtly-acting man whipped around. A single body fell to the floor; ring marks carved his temple. The wanted man was dead and the stranger had everything he needed.

Despite the murmurs of the bar crowd, the man silently walked out with the dead man over his shoulder; slinging him into the space behind the seat of his starfighter. And so the existence of Hook began.

Two years later, Hook no longer worked for the organization. Instead, he is personally hired by people to carry out the assassination of certain individuals and profited greatly.

(This will be edited and changed over a period of time.) (For the most part, the history is just a jumbled mess of basic information of his past. I might delve into it more a little later on.
