Honoring Ordo

CONCORD DAWN
HIGH ORBIT

The last remnant of his cousin sat on the console of the YT-2000's pilot station. Thehelmet sat still as Ordo stared at it from behind the 'T' of his own visor. They had not been as close as he would have liked but Tracyn was the son of Ordo's adopted aunt and uncle. That was all that really mattered to the big man. He wasn't the best at feeling things in the Force but something called to the back of his mind and it had grown stronger in recent days. Ordo closed his eyes and punched in coordinates then opened them to see an image of Vendaxxa pop up. His gut said it was right and in his short life his gut seldom lied.

The nav computer downloaded the recent data and the hyperdrive came online. He double checked the calculations and engaged the hyperdrive. Soon he would find out what called him to the world he'd never seen.

VENDAXXA
DIRTSIDE

The rocks of the shore ground beneath his heavy armored boots as he walked down from his ship. The feeling he had was stronger now. He couldn't quiet name it, a ripple, a disturbance, an eddie. He didn't know for sure. What he did know was that the closer he got to this lake the more nagging the feeling became. He walked the shoreline with his cousin's buy'ce (helmet) on his H-harness' belt until he found a long jetty. He looked at the surface of the dark water and began his walk to the edge of the jetty.

The water was calm and quiet as Ordo stood at the edge of the rocks. What was it about this lake? Why did he come to this place? He knelt down and ran armored fingers over the watery surface. The reflection of his black armor rippled and churned as he gazed in. It only lasted a momnet before his grey-green eyes went wide and his heart nearly stopped. A crushgaunt he would know anywhere broke the water's surface and grabbed his hand to pull him in...

Water shifted away, as if there was an air bubble popping. First, came the hideous crushgaunt that tore apart Sith, and enemies alike. Next, came the arm that held so much power that it was hard to describe. Slowly, from the shadowed lake on Vendaxa, arose the strong, powerful form. Caked in mud and water, the man breathed heavily for a moment. He had been under a force trance, a natural state that Tracyn fell into in times of great injury. He looked down at his wound, where the Beskad had met his armor, and pierced his stomach. He held onto the wound as he rose, mud flowing off of him. He eventually stood, towering a good three inches over his cousin. He breathed a good final breath, before glancing around. The sun of Vendaxa was unbearably harsh, and Tracyn recalled vaguely how he got there.

He looked around for a moment, gathering in the details of where he was, who he was, and what he had done. And he grimaced, realizing what he had done. He looked at his cousin, snapping his helmet off of the man's belt. He went up further on the shore, sitting down, letting the water and mud cake off of his person."Took you long enough."

Ordo pulled himself out of the lake. Swimming and the big man didn't exactly hold hands and dance together. He looked at his mud covered cousin and noticed he was a lot more like the young Mando he'd known and a lot less like the man he was. Ordo shook his head as he walked to sit next to his cousin and he pulled off his helmet.

"Maybe if you were prettier." He said as he pulled off his helmet and produced a flask from his belt, "I wouldn't have taken so long."

He took a small drink and held his questions. He wasn't the kind to get mushy on the outside but he was more than a little happy to see Tracyn alive. His thoughts went to Rianna and the Jedi. The hostilities that were begining to boil over.

"Come on," he said as he nudged the younger man with the flask, "we have a lot to get you up to speed on and you may need a sip or three."

"You mean if I had tits."Tracyn smiled and nudged the man, but politely refused the flask. He smiled, leaning his head forward. Whatever had become of Tracyn, The Demon, fell into that lake and wasn't coming out anymore. And Tracyn, once more, was Tracyn. However, he was a very badly hurt and disgusting Tracyn, that much was for sure. Mud did that for a man. Tracyn glanced around, and then raised a brow. He wasn't known to be kidding when it came to topics that required Tracyn needed to be brought up to speed on.

"Something's gone terribly wrong, hasn't it?"

Ordo took another sip and stowed the flask. He grunted needlessly as he embellished his age while he stood. His grey-green eyes flickered his own inner struggle for a moment before he offered the younger taller Mando a hand up.

"It Isn't good ner vod." He said quietly, "let's get you patched up before I have to bury you for real."

Ordo would then wait for the man's forearm before helping him into the ship. He had a lot of bacta and plenty of medkits to keep him stabilized. Ordo lived a hard life before coming back to Mandalore and he had a tendency to face near death far too often.

"You should be fixed up before I tell yoi everything." He said as they went.

Tracyn smiled, then winced. He realized now, why people tended to scream so much when they got stabbed with a Beskad. It was odd, not feeling the dark side within him. He turned to Ordo, slowly, and then followed him into the ship. Good gracious, he needed a shower. Being a month under water in a force trance nearly killed him. He felt weak, but he didn't feel bad. He looked at Ordo, breathing deeply. He began to operate on himself, wincing as the bacta came in contact with the wound. He would need to strip himself of his armor if he was to fully get rid of the wound, or at least, properly treat it. He cringed in horrific pain, as the antibacterial sting set in.

"What's happened?"

Ordo looked at the younger man's face a second before going back to helping dress the wound.

"What always happens when two warrior clans suddenly have no clear enemy?" He said as if they were talking about the weather. "The Republic's leaders failed to tell their lessers of an agreement with Gilamar and now the vode want war."

Ordo didn't look up. Tracyn would be able to put togerher how serious it was, but for fairness Ordo would explain the last detail.

"There is a fleet of Mandalorian ships with Larraq and Mia Monroe over Coruscant right now."

Tracyn's face crossed into an expression of worry. This was bad. Very bad. Bad for all the parties involved. He leaned his head forward, and grimaced, as Ordo finished putting the last details of the dressing on."And I'm guessing, that this is going to have serious repercussions for me, and you as well....Man."The Jedi paused, taking in a deep breath.

"Anyone else know I'm not...angry and dead anymore? Or is it just you?"

"No one but me and you know you're alive unless you've been chatting down there." He said sitting up.

The vode would be happy be he didn't know what the Jedi would do. It was tense and theew was just no way to tell how the finicky bunch would deal with him. Ordo pulled out a piece of Nerf jerky and started to chew on it as he looked at his younger cousin.

"Things are going to be complicated ner vod, but you know you have a place with the clan no matter what happens."
