Home is where the dark is.

Tree City was a testament to the industrial power of the Panathan Empire. House Zambrano brought much change to the Pacanth Reach with the ascension of Kaine Zambrano. The city, throughout, was littered with the master Epicanthix race.

Cyrus was walking the streets of Tree City today. For what purpose? Nothing in particular. Just to find a new pet. He needed something to keep him busy at home. He was sniffing out the perfect prey for his particular method of fun. His soft green eyes scanned each citizen of Tree City from beneath his black leather hood resting atop his head.

"Where are you.." he muttered softly beneath his breath.

Her pace carried her soundlessly through the industrial metropolis. Panatha was a world she did indeed find most enjoyable, it reminded her in some way of her beloved homeworld. Her frame was covered by the black cloak she carried, the hood only revealing the lower half of her face to the sight of others. She didn't drew much attention to herself, a remarkable claim taking in account that she was lower and much more paler than the sons of Panatha, the Epicanthix.

The reason for her visit to Panatha was simple curiosity, it had already been a while since she had been traveling from planet to planet and decided her next stop would be in the world of the Epicanthix. She already felt delighted with the city and the anticipation formed in her mind as she wondered what awaited her in Tree City.

She kept on walking and soon was alerted of the presence of another Force sensitive close by, he was apparently looking for something...or someone.

And then. He felt it.

The warm feeling of another who's sensitivity towards the force was strong. Strong enough to stop him in his tracks and sniff them out. He leaned up against the wall of a rather run down building along the street, his eyes shifted from the left to the right, searching for the one who has piqued his senses.

He could feel her drawing close. A grin made it's way onto his face slowly. He lifted his head slightly and locked eyes on the pale woman. Umbaran descent. That one was clear. It was her he'd be bringing to his keep. Once she walked past him, he would begin to tail her a few feet behind her.

The pale-skinned Sith Acolyte didn't change her direction. The Epicanthix specie had always been a race to spike her interest and ever-present curiosity, specially for their natural ability to repel her manipulative skills. This being said, an Epicanthix who in addition was a Force user attuned to the Dark-side was a temptation to her mental acquisitiveness that she could not refuse.

She had already walked past him and was well-aware of this. Since she couldn't pry on his mind to make sure for herself, she had done this in order to confirm that he had noticed her as well. Only when she was some feet ahead she felt how he started tailing her. Her dark red lips pulled up into that devilish smirk that could make chills run down the spines of the ones who saw her as though she had accomplished something.

The Umbaran ignored the one following her until a certain distance had been walked in the same manner, being followed. That was when she stopped her pace, standing in the place with her back facing the stranger.

"Have you lost something?..." Her voice was alluring and tantalizing, a mysterious tone feeling it, "Or maybe found it?"

Cyrus tailed her, keeping up with the Umbaran as best he could, never once averting his gaze from her figure. Such a specimen deserved more than to walk among the rabble of Tree City. Then she suddenly stopped, causing him to stop as well. He stood there, silently. Watching her every movement.

And when she spoke, it's as if the world around him grew silent. All he could hear was her at this point. Soulless green eyes gazing at the back of the head. All he could think about was turning her into another flayed body . But, when she spoke, those thoughts were slowly drained away. She wasn't trying to influence her mind. That would've been impossible. So what was it she was doing to the young Zambrano?

He did not answer her. He stood silently. Watching her.

The silence of the Zambrano made her intrigue grow even more. Not knowing which were his intentions, what was lurking his mind only encouraged her need to know. Panatha seemed to become more interesting every passing second...

Her pale hands slowly elevated until she reached the black hood that was covering her head and she slowly pushed it backwards, removing it. Her hair was of a grayish blonde color and straight. She then turned, finally facing him. Her white, cold gaze met his green one and upon seeing him her lips stretched in a full, wicked and attractive smile.

"Hello..." That tantalizing voice once again escaped her mouth. She wasn't precisely awaiting for an answer nor trying to read him like she would have usually done, she decided to enjoy the thrill of the mystery for once.

His eyes met with hers and his lips parted slightly to reply to her but no words came out. He looked at her with a slight scowl on his face. If only she realized to whom she was speaking. He walked a bit closer to her before finally speaking.

"Come with me.." he demanded softly.

The sigil of House Zambrano on his left chest of his black leather vest. "Do not be afraid. This is the invitation of a lifetime."

The Umbaran's devilish expression was not altered when she caught sight of the sigil on the Epicanthix chest. She was rather amused...not only was he an Epicanthix and a dark-sided force user, now she learned he also was royalty...It was like a dessert for her puzzle-loving mind.

She tilted her head slightly to the left after hearing the offer, or better said, command he had given her and smiled.Of course she was going to accompany him, after all there was no other way her curiosity would be satisfied and letting the intrigue eat away at her sanity was not an option.

Her smirk widened into a grin when he told er there was nothing to fret and that the invitation was an opportunity she should not turn down, "Of course I'll accompany you,..." she said, her face coming once again to the impish and mischievous expression before she added, giving a rather knowing tone to her sultry voice, "...my lord"

Cyrus smirked slightly and turned around, heading off in this opposite direction of the market towards the Zambrano Estate far off into the distance. The citizens traversing in his pathway seemed to move out of his way, even without him saying a word to them. It was the aura of the Zambranos that struck fear into their enemies and forced living beings to respect them.

"What is your name?" Cyrus asked, looking over his right shoulder to make sure she was keeping up. His voice was dark, somewhat coasre. Like that of a young man who smokes occasionally.

No detail escaped the Umbaran's extremely attentive eye, saying she was observant would be no more than an underestimation. She was not observant, she was analytic, a master of scrutinizing in the less evident of ways. Even if she was not, her ability to feed her power of the negative emotions of others would just as easily allow her to perceive the fear that sunk into the citizens eyes when their path was crossed by the Zambrano, resulting in them changing their direction just to avoid him.

She had heard of the intimidating presence of the Zambranos but she couldn't help but feel there was more about this member of the family in particular, something sadistic. This would have most surely made others take off in the other direction but she, she was not afraid nor alerted, she was...curious. Besides, her being afraid of someone who only apparently found pleasure in dark actions would be very, very hypocritical for she was one of those type of people.

The Zambrano asked for her name then, the smile that had only minutes ago deserted her face came back immediately, "I am called Syss Rembala" She said, her voice like velvet but with that always present feeling of evilness, "And what may be yours?" She inquired.

Cyrus pace was even and uninterrupted. Until he stopped at the spaceport. It was there that his personal starship awaited. It was large enough to fit a pilot and three passengers aboard. "Take your seat." he demanded of her. There was seemingly no emotion in his voice, but one would be able to tell that he wasn't one to joke around. Nothing but serious business from this guy.

He awaited for her to find her seat before sitting in the pilot's seat and prepared for takeoff. The ship began to him as it warned up. The many lights off the dashboard came to life.

Then he remembered her question. "I am Cyrus." he finally responded.
