Holy-Hijacked!

She was sent to Alderaan by her friends and brother whom felt she was over working herself. It wasn't truly that...it was just, things were hard before the sith occupation of Coruscant, and now things were just plain ridiculous. She worked two jobs, and attended school. She couldn't afford to be missing out on things like this, plus the fact that she didn't want her brother to be a burden to anyone back home. Soo...she cut her vacation short. Though she didn't see, and meet some really cool people on the way, but this just didn't feel right.

How did she get back? Well it was the same way she got there, transport. Full of people of the middle class of course. Hmm, she sat in her little spot as they drift through space on their way back toa Coruscant, ugh! She just wanted to go home. Is that too much to ask for? Yeah, like she's gonna receive an answer to that!

Payback

Commander of Fear
Payback's ship jumped out of hyperspace right in front of the transport. The transport suddenly reversed the thrusters in order to avoid a crash. All He had to do now was.. BOOM! The missiles hit their mark, the engines. The ship was now immobile. Payback calmly pulled his ship up to the transport, then docked. This was to be a routine hostage taking. And it would pay well. He had his men open the doors when they were safely docked. Some brave men ran at payback with nothing more than holdout blasters. His training kicked in and he lunged forward, grabbing one's neck and snapping it and then putting a blaster bolt in the other's head. This took less than half a second. He then loudly announced "Remain calm and do not resist or you will be shot" as his men boarded the transport with shackles ready.

Kiyron frowned as the comms started chattering. A hijacking. Great. Exactly what they needed at the moment. He set his food down, handed some credits to the server, and stood, calculating the fastest route. He started walking quickly, listening. He tappedthe comm, "Lieutenant Kiyron, spec ops, en route. Wait until I get there to launch an op."
"Affirmative, sir," The reply came back, "We'll dispatch a speeder to get you, sir. What is your location?" Kiyron beamed them the location, and within moments, a speeder with flashing lights had screeched roman halt beside him, and he jumped in the front. They sped off, tearing around corners until they reached the spaceport. Kiyron jumped out and ran into the command center, frowning.

As she sat in her own corner, she was looking around at everyone else conversing and interacting, and all she could think about was how much she wanted to be home. This was then she felt the ship shake consistently for a minute. She reached out with her arms and hands so that she could latch on I something that would allow her to maintain some type of balance. Then she felt the ship stop and the lights cut off and then back on. There was no subtle him of the ship anymore, the silence that came was so loud, it was louder than everyone panicking and being unsure,

She stood up slowly, now a strand of hair found a home in front of her face. She slowly began to walk towards the front of the massive room. She heard blaster fire off into the distance, it screeched through the metals of the ship, and then there were none. As she continued to move through the semi lit room she heard the comm come on and someone speak. The words she heard next saw everyone confused or scared. This couldn't be happening. Not today.

As he walked through the ship, Payback pointed at passengers that were to be taken to his ship, the rest would stay on board this one. If law enforcement came, he would be able to make a quick escape with at least some prisoners. A woman was stumbling through the crowd right towards the pirates, probably trying to figure out what was going on. Payback pointed to a few people. "Him. And her, him, him, and her." He said as he pointed to several passengers and his guards moved to bind them. "And take her too." He said as he pointed to [member="Imani Ever"]

Kiyron strode into the command center causing heads to turn as he assessed the situation. "Get me Gungnir amor..." He paused to consider the situation. "And an SR-26! Get your best team together as well. I want them in a shuttle ready to leave in five minutes. Hit the pirate vessel with an ion cannon if possible, and surround them in my sphere of you can't. Make escape too risky too attempt."

He paused as someone ran up to him with the ordered gear and he started strapping the armor on, monitoring the holodisplay as he did so. He finished by strapping the sub machine gun into a holster and cradling the helmet under his arm just as the team jogged in. He gave them a curt nod and gestured for the doorway, leading them out to a waiting Redstar-class patrol ship, engines causing the ground to vibrate. They piled in, filling it to capacity and buckled in.

The ship shot upwards, gravity pressing them against their seats. Kiyron patched his comm into the local network, listening in on the communications being shot frantically back and forth. Now that a team was en route, negotiations began, with the commander of police hailing the pirate vessel.

Her eyes widened when they started picking people to take with them. Mothers and wives cried for their sons and husbands. There were more men than women, but sadly it was the same for the husbands and sons who had to watch their women be taken away. Cries and tears became a symbol for today's recent events. She willingly went along and even comforted another woman who had be chosen. She placed her hand on her back, and they walked to get their binders.

They were sat aside for the moment, she shook her head from the sidelines as the others were threatened. The proudness she had was showing this day, in this moment. As she was too worried about the sakes of others than her own. A lone pirate pointing his pistol at a harmless elder, she approached him and stood between them. "Please! Stop we don't want any bloodshed." she said pleading with the man. But she was simply slapped across her face, and thrown back into the crowd with the other prisoners.

As Payback's men loaded up the prisoners, he watched in silence. A woman cried out that she didn't want any bloodshed, only to be slapped. He nodded to the soldier that did it, prisoners had to be kept in line. "Sir, we're getting a transmission from an incoming ship!" one of his men shouted to Payback from inside the pirate ship. "Patch him in to my helmet's comm. I don't want a holo feed, only for them to hear me." Soon after he said this, he heard the familiar sound of a negotiator. Before the negotiator could continue speaking, Payback cut them off. "Look, I know how this goes. We negotiate, you don't like my price and send a team in. Let's get this straight. The price for the hostages is half a million credits. One credit less and we kill them." With that, Payback ended the transmission.

That was easy enough for negotiations. Half a million credits for a ship load of prisoners. It would be less of a risk for them to just pay it. You'd think a government as large as the Republic could afford a half million credits to free hostages. Granted, the budget was fairly tight now that there was war again. Then there was the principle of it. You pay one pirate, and suddenly every other two-bit wannabe was hijacking ship a hoping for easy money. Hence the game they played. At least this one understood that. A simple message ran through his comm. They were a go. The negotiator would keep trying, to get more details at least. Where the credits were supposed to go was the main one.

He studied the ship. A MandalMotors construction ship. Interesting. Not too heavily armed, thankfully. He tapped his fingers on his seat, analyzing. The freighter was more valuable, and dangerous, to the pirates than the transport. It also still had working engines. He leaned forward and spoke softly to the piloting crew, and they nodded. He pressed himself back into the seat as the engines shot to life, sending the vessel rocketing towards the pirate vessel, and several proton torpedoes shot out, targeting the engines and shield generator while the lasers strafed the rest of the ship to knock them off balance. They couldn't evade, since doing so would break the seals between their hulls, killing everyone in those sections of the ships. He doubted the pirate leader would risk himself that much.

He nodded to the others, and they pulled their helmets on, listening as the hiss indicated they had sealed. Kiyron considered for a moment, and strapped his pistol to his armor as well. Once could never have too many weapons in situations like these. His hand reached up and flipped the case off the handle of the boarding tube while one of the others prepped the charges. They would go In hard and fast.

She developed a small bruise on her face from the hit. She sucked it up of course, and was glad to have helped that lady. She stood amongst the group of hostages, all of their arms closed up in cuffs. Most if them were scared, trembling in fear, and the families watching were just as scared for them. She didn't want fear to be noticeable when they saw her. She was too prideful for all of that. There had to be something she could do, and then it was then that the leader had begun conversation with negotiators, she wanted so badly to scream out, but his henchmen noticed her expression and signaled her to be quiet.

Ugh! They needed to make a decision and hurry. Then she thought about her bag, and all of her information being left inside it. Was there something inside that could probably help them? She had to think, and she silently spoke to herself.

"Think Imani, Think!"
