Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton didn't want to do this, but he knew he needed to. He hadn't really spoken with the Grandmaster in length since before the incident. He needed to talk to the man eventually, he couldn't hide forever. Furthermore he needed training, and not any training he could do on his own. he meeded to make sure he never lost control again, that he could recognize when foreign influences clouded his judgement. He had asked the Grandmaster for holocrona, but Teferi's holocron had been a wash, as Jaxton couldn't bring himself to use it. He needed to try something new.

So here he was, opening the door of the Jedi Grandmaster's office. He walked in, remained standing, and began to speak to the Grandmaster @[member="Darron Wraith"]

"I need to talk to you about what happened at the World Devastator. I can't let that happen again."

Tython

"Sit then Jaxton."

Darron had been working intently ever since the Omni crisis had ended, put out one fire and thirty more start. He shook his head at the thought, combine all the clean up with the Republic's expansion and annexation attempts and life had been busy. The Order was stretched perilously thin at this point, two thousand Jedi could only do so much. If they weren't on missions, or training the new Padawans who were coming in, they were having to deal with the Sith Empire. Cleaning up after the massive artificial intelligence crisis as one thing, and normally required a massive amount of attention. The Sith were intent on having their war of conquest though, and the Jedi needed to be ready. Not only physically, as their numbers were fine, but also mentally. It's why he had called the Zeltron Jedi Knight into his office, and Darron intended to clear the air.

Well he hoped at least.

Blue eyes scanned the Zeltron, and the signs of fatigue were there. Darron went to check on his hand, but Jaxton had it covered up with his robes. He's acting just like I did after I lost mine. He could remember all the conflicting emotions he had felt after he himself had been maimed, how the emotional man before him was handling it was a mystery. Knight Ravos' emotions were not a secret, and having the empathy that his species carried only compounded the matter. Knowing that guilt plagued him, Darron sought to clear the air and make things right. Even he, the GrandMaster of the Order felt guilt for injuring a fellow Council member, Adamant Company member, and a friend.

"I'm all ears Jaxton, how are you feeling? How's your hand?"

"I'm all ears Jaxton, how are you feeling? How's your hand?" Darron asked, and Jaxton winced a bit at the question. He hated losing his hand, but ultimately it wasn't a serious issue. He had lost some strength, a little movement, but due to the miracles of prosthetic technology he still had a hand, just not his hand. The first question however, was much more of a puzzle. Jaxton felt horrible, hated himself for his action, but then again he felt the same way after dealing with Teferi.

"My hand's probably decomposed right now, but it's replacement is working well. No issues so far." He said in a manner that could of been perceived as cold. He held no ill will towards Darron, only himself. "As for feelings, I'm feeling like I'm the biggest screw of a Jedi this side of Anakin. I mean how many Jedi openly attack their Grandmaster?" Jaxton said a bit angrily. "I'm just glad it was you to be honest. I coulda killed somebody."

"I wish you hadn't had to endure that, it gets better with time. The advancements they have made in prosthetics these days are quite amazing my friend."

The GrandMaster said the last word tentatively, almost with a sense of apprehension. Which was quite odd given the fact he could stare down the Empress, or an army of machines and be just fine. It was one thing to wound an enemy, or even cause collateral damage. To wound one he had worked so cloesly with had hurt him, left him feeling rather confused. It wasn't often he felt like that, as he made every decision through the will of the Force. Even though the Zeltron had been infected by the Omni virus at the time, it still had left him reeling. The strike had been one of defense, but to have maimed a member of Adamant Company, one he had served with on the Council.

Well it just didn't seem right.

"Listen, I feel horrible about that. Tell me how to work things out between us, and I'll do my best to teach you how to not let that ever happen to you again."
