Rationale: Nephthys is a scholar of the Order of the Moth, a division within the Commonwealth military. The Order requires advanced technology to substitute a lack of formal training in the Force and knowledge on the construction of lightsabers, so that they may be on even grounds with other Force-sensitive orders in the galaxy. A program was started, under the penmanship of President Malcolm Manx, Nephthys was chosen to spearhead the sub-division, and slowly it began to unravel into a company operating beyond the Order of the Moth.

Description: At the behest of President Malcolm Manx, the current leader of the Commonwealth, Holstice Technologies was created to design advanced armor, weaponry and cybertech for the Order of the Moth. Funding was drawing from the Commonwealth, placing a large dent in the governments pocket. Seeing the potential for economic growth, Holstice Technologies expanded into a company, offering its exclusive services to those aligned with the political ideas of the Commonwealth. Those such as the Galactic Republic and Galactic Alliance, where-as governments such as the One Sith are all but barred from the company products.
Specializing in unique, semi-unique and limited products, the restricted production line allows for greater funds to be placed on individual concepts, albeit resulting in exponentially increased sale prices. Products of Holstice Technologies are designed for individuals and small groups, but Holstice Technologies is not shy of accepting minor or mass productions if agreed via contract with another government.
Nephthys acts as both a managing director and product tester. She was chosen due to her position as delegate and scholar in the Order of the Moth. Her assignments require her to travel abroad, studying other cultures and technologies. Through these travels she will bring with her various in-work products, testing them in the field for faults and concerns.
