The class had been open but she wasn't going to force ones to come. Her amusement though on her face while sitting in the ship as it made its way towards the rift. A section of space where the force acted strangely compared to the rest of the galaxy and she felt it was important that padawans and knights or masters learned the value of it. From the practical of being able to see and feel anomolies within the force a skill they could use in case of dangerous creatures to the more fantastical like breathing fire or creating shadows that could strike.

It was all that kept her prepared and interested as the jedi master tinkered with the items on her desk. The circlet she had found on the dark world and was an ancient jedi artifact. Now without a place to go while the jedi master moved forward touching the glowing saber hilts and crystals they had found throughout to restore the lost vaults of the jedi. The holocrons she had been able to study and work of it all before attention went to what she had in her hand. The purple crystal that glowed making her feel the force outwards throughout each thing in the universe.

Thoughts burned in her head while she was going over with her eyes and touched the chain it was on securing it around her neck and within the form fitted brown robes from Ulic, her darker and heavier robes going over the armband as she tied her hair with a ribbon to make her mass of hair fold on itself and come to mid thigh instead of past her feet. Matsu was walking towards the briefing room for the ones who had decided to come were assembled and had time to set up. The small stone in her belt and the glowing blue crystal with her emblem.

"Welcome to a class, all who have come you are about to enter a region of space where something happened over three hundred thousands years ago. It tore and twisted the force into something else and other species developed within it able to do things. The Aing-Tii know how to use it and protect the greater secrets of the rift while others work over different parts of it all to live. Their views of the force are different, teaching them how to manipulate the rift and area within it. That is why we are traveling there as you can only learn this within the rift."

Not at the front, not at the center, but with his head in whatever literature he could gather, at the side, Taiden had arrived before anyone else, he’d slept just enough to allow his body and mind time to rest but no more or less. Balanced over-enthusiasm with keeping his body at his physical and mental peak. Today to match his white attire, as if he could carry the wilds with him, Taiden had a long wooden staff along his back, runic markings and old carved languages laying against the hard wood, furthering his understandings of diminishing dialects by bringing them with him!

Then Matsu entered and as if right on cue the orange holobook was turned off and disappeared back to his belt. She talked about new technique, but what technique, what made this journey special? “Why do we enter the rift Matsu, what technique lays at its heart?” It was a simple question, and one he’d been studying any grasp of since they started, but his questioning posture still showed he was uncertain as to their purpose here. Any purpose, any new discovery that might further his understanding of the force was hungered for, but Taiden’s mind craved details, understanding, to see movement and motion expressed in new forms and current planted for new yields of understanding.

One of the padawans with him gave him an amused look for just how much of a suck up he was, Ms Taresa Kae had accompanied them, seemingly she had taken her place within the Silver Sanctum order as of late, her young features were bright today and she greeted Matsu with the full respect she had earned on their last outing, a deep bow. A change from being as standoffish as last time, though of course Echani reserve didn't alter all that much, returning to her trademark stoicism all too quickly.

Matsu stood there and raised an eyebrow while looking at him. She couldn't feel the strangeness of the rift yet and showing the fantastical was hard when it only worked in a section of space. "It is less a secret at the heart of the rift and more what it contains. Whatever happened long ago left a scar on it... an imprint that the being there learned how to manipulate. The Aing-Tii taught me and a few others how to see the flow of the time stream but others within the rift have taught themselves how to use and alter within it space." She wanted to try and explain how you could see a world and events or people on a planet within a reflection. Shift the sands to form avatars you can use to search and communicate vast distances. Or ignite the very breath coming from your mouth. The teachings of the groups within the rift made for something impressive you could show to others. "The meditations one uses and learns to feel and alter the rift are also useful for learning how to generate the force on worlds and touch the essence of them."

Taiden raised an eyebrow back in a completely serious gesture of mutual youthful inquisition. “Generation of life,” Matsu had perhaps found the holy grail, because what had the Sith being doing to so many worlds, damaging them some thought beyond repair. Thankfully none had made them completely force dead yet, though the rumors had even Taiden's trademark reservations slightly on edge, at least when he'd heard about vong forming.

There were Jedi who fought battles in front of Sith and there were those who did the work behind the scenes they'd never know about, that was Matsu, and to a lesser extent Taiden. “One can truly meditate and generate the force in the world around them?” Visions of him travelling to the dead places to heal them washed over the acolyte and he almost stumbled a step, head looking down contemplatively.

It made sense in balance, Taiden had heard those who could could wound the living force, summon, control it even, but never generate it. The Echaniborn became very still, while others doubtless asked her questions or offered their opinion even on how to proceed. The possibilities instead of such a technique to reverse some of the damage of the more dreadful sorcery in the galaxy was too much to pass up.

Brushing his hair silver hair back to tie it in a ponytail, in a brief attempt at practicality and showing of readiness, Taiden unbowed his head and stood ready. “What might I offer you Elder Matsu?”

"When you are skilled in it yes you can. it is a strange technique that only a handful of jedi know how to use the technique." She had worked on it and to learn the technique as they were heading in and she thought about how best the padawan could help and raised her eyebrow. "You can learn, there is a lot to be said for some of the things done within the jedi and the force but the best thing anyone can do is learn how to survive and see who you can help with it. Using it on worlds is and can be dangerous if you do not understand it and has been abused by some jedi to try and satisfy their ego over helping."

“I understand Elder Matsu, I will meditate extensively on this,” receptive Taiden as he often was for Matsu, a bridge of building respect for her reaching toward new understandings. There was so much potential to heal with this technique, but he recogized it must be the force that decided it's use, not him. “Thank you for giving us honor.” He dipped his head, holding his eyes shut for a visible moment. Taresa Kae offering a small smile before she did the same.

Full readying himself, his pinpoint Echani focus and precision was brought to bear, reaching for the currents of the place, the passing force energies ready for the exchange of understanding, patiently because there was no rush. Through their travels Taiden was finding a more familiar sense of Echani timing, the lust for knowledge, for wanting to know everything, balanced because of just how much time she was spending with him teaching, and instruction like she had just given.

In simple terms, Taiden was growing up, because of hers and Nima's influence.

Matsu looked at him as the ship seemed to alter strangely. Entering the rift and the strange way it had the force as she closed her eyes and sat there. Slowly shifting her thoughts and reaching out while they were going into Aing-Tii space with one of the ships approaching as Matsu sent the message and what she had been given when she was being taught as sitting there she could feel the force in its strange way compared to some of the others. They were moving as they got an escort with the ship towards the worlds deeper within the rift and she inhaled looking out the viewport. "Be careful also, the Aing-Tii are not cruel but they do not always enjoy visitors. Be mindful of your manners... and that they say hello in strange ways."

At times Taiden was colorblind to the force, feeling the ebb and flow, intent or purpose more strongly than degrees of alteration of what was already there. A good ten seconds after Matsu had sensed something he'd seen her reaction and was beginning to see the same, albeit in much smaller degrees.

“What is it Master Matsu?”

Then she answered him, without even need to really ask. If Taiden could keep his insatiable curiosity in check manners and formality were no issue. A problem he and Natoline both had! Curiosity that well and truly killed a lot of cats for them. They didn't like visitors, they preferred manners, but what else?

“What else is most important to know about them Master?” Taiden further inquired, flickers of that curiosity that he was at pains to keep reserved coloring his response. Steadying himself in the surrounding force energies, the scholar hoped to better understand their surroundings, reaching to sense more subtle currents or clues in its direction, the wake of this place unlike anything he had yet to experience in all his travels.

Any insight she gave him here, would only aid them both.

Oh there was as she was standing there and didn't really make a motion for the ship to help with docking. No there was a sensation in her gut as she spoke. "Well." It pulled at her and Matsu brought a hand to her stomach as the pressure pulsed and beat behind her eye a moment. Then it was there, a pop that she never got used to and she had been training with them to learn how to use their skills as she wanted to throw up her lunch still and fought against it. The Aing-Tii standing in the middle of the room looking at her though was familiar and she could tell from the lighter shades of white grey as it came forward and opened its mouth. Three tongues extending and licking at her face as she was engulfed in its size standing there and her diminutive size was even more on display then normal before she managed to pull back enough. "They like to huge when they say hello." She said it and brushed her robe off as they were jumping with the ship into the rift more. "Also they know how to fold space and time."

Diamond tipped, so subtle, then it broke outward. Shades of grey on a silver canvas, impossible to read or fathom, the timeless breaking the natural order of things. This was unnaturally disturbing to the padawan and he found himself taken aback, holding a hand to a chest to steady himself as they entered.

Taresa Kae stood forward instead, bowing deeply and respectfully, raising her head to look toward the visitors. “You do our houses great honor in meeting with us.” She stated with the same Kae pride Hana might have once echoed to the all, her chin and posture holding the same almost regal bearing when greeting others. These techniques were dangerous but also so valuable, was it worth the risk of studying them? Taresa clearly thought so and as Taiden recovered himself, he stood beside the others, nodding formally once more, composed.

The tongue licking did not so much phase him, all familiar physically contact was somewhat unnatural toward his calmer reserve, this was no different from the hugs humans gave each other in meeting, hug to say hello, “indeed.” Then she mentioned space and time, and Taiden had to physically curb his natural curiosity, more the ability to heal worlds, to heal the force, that sense of wanting that information was right in his chest almost, he deepened his breath barely showing this internal struggle. Seems he was wrong, his curious streak was there again, would he ever settle it?

She could feel the padawan and the others while they were heading in. The homeworld of the Aing-Tii was a great and wonderful place but more then that it was a living place. Their biotechnology something that could rival the vong and other races before the ship was docked and she walked. "Loosen up and have some fun, learning how to feel the flow of the force here can be different and you'll be able to see things." She didn't say what, it was hard to explain how you could learn to see the flow of time and to see far off places. The pathway they were going through was organic and built to house man before coming into a bubble with a fire pit in the center. "Alright this is.... have you ever seen a sweat lodge? It is like that, they will speak and answer questions in welcoming and show to impress. Just be careful with some of the drinks it can be strong."
