A strange plant that developed on Atrisia recently... after her sacrifice at the battle
Zanza Hijikata
's moss as it was made to be called started growing on the world. Her wall of light she directed along the great wall used a lot of power against the darkside forces that were located there. After she became one with the force the appearance of the mysterious plant brought attention to the botanists of Atrisia. Exploring its properties showed that is was water filled but didn't grow near snow or water.. instead appearing in places like the deserts or the jungles. Where it could be seen across the world and in some places on the continents almost from orbit itself like a mass of pink candy. The Atrisian Commonwealths initiative to understand it also saw the effects of the water near sources of water. it was for lack of a better term unripened and altered the mind of the ones who drank it compared to the waters found in the deserts or closer to the cities. The phenomenon of the moss to absorb sound was strange but research showed the silent deserts of Tython that had this ability. Given that the moss seemed to appear after one of their masters gave herself to the force it was a theory albeit unproven that a smilar situation occured. With the plant instead of sand. The other main thing is as the plant is new botanists from the Jedi were welcomed to come and look at it to try and understand or test out the properties.

Kudzu
- Name: Hijikata Moss
- Origins: Atrisia codex Atrisia wookiee

- Average Growth Cycle: Grows up to six inches a day around the planet
- Viability: Requires low moisture, near the oceans, lakes or polar regions the moss does not grow... but it does use moisture just heavy and consistent moisture will kill it. IE: It requires watering but constant water keeps it from growing
- Description: Small, smooth and pinkish in color much like the jedi masters hair. The moss is not really a moss but more moss like. Growing thicker and more colorful in the shade with rich soil. It kind of looks like kudzu type plants spreading out and over an area while fofering animals and even people a succulent source of water that is drinkable and able to nourish the people of Atrisia. It grows nearly everywhere on Atrisia in varying shades of pink depending on different conditions. The closer to water sources (but not entirely near) it will be more pale and grow slowly. As oppoosed to shaded areas near the high lands and forests where it rains but remains hot and dry... There its pink colors are on display like bubblegum.

- Color: Varying shades of pink depending on the proximity to water, rich soil and shade. Pale is close to water andslow growing while the darker more pink shades of it mean rich soil low moisture and shade.
- Nutritional Value: Beneficial for animals on long trips, the moisture contained within can supply them with daily needs for water and food but not much else. For a person if it much the same... but it doesn't act as more then breaking a cactus open.
- Toxicity: Closer to water and what has stopped growing. The mossees water is hallucinogenic and while it can still be drinkable it will create a bad trip.

- Distinctions: Grows several inches daily stretching across the ground. absorbs acoustic waves and provides a food source for animals.
- Succulent: A source of water and even minimal food in an emergency. The moss like kudzu is not going to feed an army but when without food it can be used in a pinch.
Sound Absorbing: A strange quality akin to the silent desert of Tython. While not as strange as it is there the moss does absorb sound near it.
- Durability: Being a moss-like kudzu the plant is not resilient to tearing and is made to be torn apart.
Water: While it requires a form of moisture to grow in minimal doses. Actual abundance causes it to stop growing and makes the water hallucinogenic to most species.
