Hi...Dad

It had been months since she had seen her father. Sophia was embarrassed that he had spent all his credits to bail her out. She ought to have been stronger than that. She should have not allowed the Sith to do that to her and now she was at a crossroads with everything. It was miserable and she missed her family but they were busy. The last thing her mother needed was to deal with her not with the baby coming and that.

A silent tear streamed down her face which she quickly wiped away as she took a seat. Her father wasn't here as she was sure that he was on deployment. It was her fault he couldn't enjoy his retirement. It was for the best that he wasn't here as Sophia wasn't sure what she would say to him or how to even face him again.

Someday she would pay him back. Sophia just needed to figure out how she would do that. A good start would be to begin to work again.

John was making his way to check on his yacht and he was surprised to see someone, but not just anyone was having a seat in it. It as Sophia and john was shocked. " Sophia?" He said holding his arms open hoping she would give him a hug as he approached. " I am so glad to see you..." He didn't know what else to say, he was just glad she was ok. He had spent most of his life savings to get her out and only could keep his yacht, until he joined Op for enough credits to get a new house. He had moved their entire family but she was worth it. Any of his family was worth it. He was just glad to have his baby girl back.

"Daddy?" Sophia looked up from here she was sitting. She didn't expect to see her dad today if she knew he was going to be here she wouldn't have come. Sophia loved her father but she was worried what he would think of her after everything. She was such a disappointment to the family and once again taken over her parents life.

Getting up from the seat she ran over and wrapped her arms around her father in a great big hug. Leaning her head against his shoulder she couldn't help but start crying. "I'm so sorry," she sobbed into his shoulder not letting go. Sophia didn't know what else to say but that she was sorry about everything. She loved her family and wanted nothing more than to make them proud.

John couldn't help but wrap his arms around sophia, the girl he had raised with his wonderful wife and it broke his heart to see her so sad. " Why are you sorry? I am just glad your safe, I would of done anything to make sure you were safe. You don't know how glad I am to see you, I have been worried sick about you" He said holding her as tight as he could. " I am so glad to see you Sophia please don't avoid me again, I only care that you are safe. "
He began to cry, not because he was sad but because he was glad to see his daughter.

"No,no dad don't cry." Sophia took one of her hands and wiped the tears from her eyes. She didn't mean to make her father cry. It was just she was overcome with emotion and it seemed that he was the same way. She really was just like her dad. "I'm sorry for staying away for so long I just didn't I couldn't face you again."

Letting go she stepped away from her father and sighed looking down at her feet for a moment before looking back up at him. "I am a disappoint. I tried to stay with the Navy but ended up leaving plus I am the reason you had to leave. I miss everyone though. How is everyone?"

John walked towards her and hugged her again, this time not letting go and holding her tight. " I didn't say you could let go did I? " He chuckled. " I love you no matter what, and I think you will find that everyone wants to see you. We all miss you dearly. " He said holding her tight. " I am happy with the Omega Protectorate. They treat me well, and I would hope you would serve with me, I mean we both know you love being in the navy, so join up and start doing things again. You can't blame yourself. So don't apoligize, it isn't your fault. it is the damn sith. They are the ones who should be sorry but I am just glad I am here with you. Now, do you want to work on your ship, it is still in my hanger. " He smiled hoping she would want to. '

"Your right, I do love the Navy and I would join you but I'm apart of the Confederacy now. I'm not in the Navy presay but I am Captain of Phantom Corps which puts me in charge star fighters. The best part though is that I have access to research and design so I can modify my ship and even build one from scratch during my downtime. The Republic never allowed anything like that." Sophia hoped her father wasn't mad that Sophia had joined away from her family. She just figured branching out was the best option for her at the moment.

"I would love to continue working on our ship though. That one is special because we are doing it together."

" I am sad to see you in another faction but well your right you should go out on your own. " He hugged her tight and smiled. " Well lets get too it, I might of managed to get a few parts while you were gone, though I of course waited for you. to put them on" He smiled as she put his arm around her and walked towards the ship.

"You could always come join me. We do great things there, save people. It's nice to make a difference and get out there again. One thing I learned from almost dying is you have to live life to the fullest. I'm happy with the things and people in my life. Blessed actually and I didn't realize how precious life is until recently. In time I'll heal but while I still have the nightmares I can focus on fine tuning my mechanical skills."

Sophia hadn't spoken to anybody really about her issues expect her therapist which at first she hadn't wanted but in the end it had actually been a good thing. Talking about what happened helped but Sophia didn't want sympathy for what happened. She had grown from the experience.

"You have got some parts? Really from where?"
