First Reply Hey, You're Not Supposed To Be Here

Was it a mistake to go to Ossus?

Probably. The Imperials were not friends of the Jedi. If anything, they were openly at war. Did it stop Aris from going? Right up until he was found out, no. The only advantage right now was that the patrol had found him where he wasn't supposed to be, and as he ran from them they didn't realize he was a Jedi. He sprinted between a pair of pillars, ducking just under the blasterfire sent his way.

Sure, they couldn't hurt him, but the most important thing right now was to not be found out for what he is.

"Halt, criminal!"

Aris, for once, chuckled. When in the world has that actually worked for the Imperials, especially once they already started shooting? He flashed a grin to the trooper before he dipped into the Library itself. He wasn't finished here after all.

Do these children never learn? Spectris wove his way through the troopers approaching the entrance like an oily snake, the chill of his passing caressing each one like the flat of a blade aching to bite the foolhardy or twitch-prone. While the troopers were too blind to grasp the true nature of the intruder, the miraluka was not. The Force radiated off the young man like a solar flare, steeped in light, and he could be only one thing.

A Jedi.

"Return to your posts. It will be handled," Spectris spoke, almost too softly, too calmly, to be a seething tyrant of rage spoken of in quivering tongues to terrify children and soldiers alike, but the radiance of domination and icy hatred was unmistakable. Sith. None attempted to meet his gaze - none would dare. Mumbled 'yes, lord's and 'as you wish'es trailed behind his tattered, black robes like a dread cloak, swallowing bravado with every flutter on the near-dead wind.

He would never catch Aris Noble Aris Noble by simply walking after him, but it wasn't his plan to. Not yet. Stretching out his presence like the shadow beneath the eclipse, one that spoke of inevitable darkness, cold and fatal, Spectris knew it would be impossible to not notice. How can you not turn to glimpse the monster turning the corner behind you? Who can resist seeing if their efforts are gaining them ground?

The fun part has merely just begun.
