First Reply Hey, You're Not Supposed To Be Here

Was it a mistake to go to Ossus?

Probably. The Imperials were not friends of the Jedi. If anything, they were openly at war. Did it stop Aris from going? Right up until he was found out, no. The only advantage right now was that the patrol had found him where he wasn't supposed to be, and as he ran from them they didn't realize he was a Jedi. He sprinted between a pair of pillars, ducking just under the blasterfire sent his way.

Sure, they couldn't hurt him, but the most important thing right now was to not be found out for what he is.

"Halt, criminal!"

Aris, for once, chuckled. When in the world has that actually worked for the Imperials, especially once they already started shooting? He flashed a grin to the trooper before he dipped into the Library itself. He wasn't finished here after all.

Torson sighed as he exited the Gunship once it had made landfall right outside the Old Jedi Library on Ossus. As one of the top enforcers of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, he was used to carrying out high-risk missions for the advancement of the Imperial cause, not performing mundane check-ups on Imperial sites especially to chase after mere criminals.

From the briefings given to him by High Command, a suspected Jedi had been spotted on the grounds of the Jedi Library and so far had been able to evade Imperial patrols. While the Inquisitors would have been better suited for the task, the Supreme Commander himself had insisted on sending Special Forces to handle this security breach, which would lead to Torson finding himself speaking to the Captain in charge of the unit responsible for patrolling the Jedi Library.

"All the exits have been sealed as per the directive of the Supreme Commander." the Captain said. "And the Jedi?" Torson asked. "We haven't had a visual on him since he entered the Temple." the Captain responded. "What's the status of your unit." Torson inquired once more, staring down at the Captain through the visors of his helmet. "In perfect condition, so far we have suffered no casualties." the Captain responded, in a prideful tone as if that was a good thing.

Without offering any further response to the Captain, Torson would simply proceed to turn around to face his squad and signal them to follow him as he began to head into the Jedi Library. Hopefully they would get this matter resolved by the end of the day so that they could focus on the more important matters that required their attention.

It had to be further in.

Aris wasn't much for subterfuge or the like, but he was plenty fast when he wanted to be. Leave the troopers outside to wonder where he might've gone, he could sprint through the halls to try and find what he was searching for. Every shelf, every passage, one after the other. The book had to be here, right? To anyone who didn't know what it was it looked like a boring tome.

He found the secret, though.

"Come on, you're here right?"

He paused, listening out. Heartbeats, footsteps quieter than typical troopers. Elites already? Crap.
