As a noble, even though his house has fallen from it height of power, still consider himself a cut above the commoner. As such he tends to under estimates people less privileged than himself. He does believe in Serenno, as it has the ability to rebuild no matter what happens. That has happened, a few times now.

This is reinforced by his good education, and his Naval Academy experience.

HISTORY of Hetton Vemec

Hetton was born on Serenno, in turbulent times, His family use to be a highly influential house, but those glory days are long behind it by the time he was born. Though they still had the family name, if not same influence lands or money, but they had their ancestral home. Hetton was the second son, and thus knew he would have to make his own way in the world. His older brother Ramil was groomed for running the house so was educated in law and business, so he may help reverse the family fortunes. Hetton however, was directed towards Serenno military naval academy.

He spent his formative years at private school with his peers, getting a rounded education. Though at home he had tutor called Mr Harlesden, who taught him about naval vessels, their strengths and weakness. He found the lessons informative, but dull, but he did his duty, and studied hard. Then at the age of sixteen he was enrolled in the academy, he was then able to theory in practice, which paid off for him.

He made new friends in the Naval Academy, of own class of people minor nobles like himself, and they formed a bit of a clique. The one thing that did intrigue him was command. He use to dream of commanding his frigate against pirates, and proving his worth. He did well in the simulations, and came in the top ten of his year. He looked forward to his graduation ceremony, he got to meet the King, Lucien Dooku though the time was short, but he did get his scroll from him. As well as listen to speech on how they where the future of Serenno, this filled him with pride. Soon after he was sent to help out on a cruiser, as a deck officer. Then all hell broke out
