[SIZE=10.666666666666666px]During the popular uprising known as Flippers Across Fondor, when Herglics residing in the Protectorate systems grew agitated and restless, Orcus drew together many of the prestigious pod leaders on Giju, along with those of Lamuir IV and Tallaan, and proposed a reformation of the Herglic Trade Empire, whereby the various enterprises such as the Tallaan Shipyards merged with the manufacturers on Giju and the gambling industry on Lamuir IV.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.666666666666666px]They all agreed, mostly due to the infusion of much needed credits from the Tion Hegemony. The events of the Netherworld had left the planets in economic upheaval, but the Trade Empire promised a chance at stability. With the Trade Commission already essentially in charge of the Tallaan government, Orcus simply proposed that a greater Trade Commission be formed to preside over the Trade Empire's interests. This also was agreed to, with representatives from various sects of Herglics along the Rimma getting a position on the Commission. [/SIZE]

Giju sports grand ocean cruises, resorts and gambling facilities, while Tallaan - situated where the Giju Passage meets the Procopian Shipping Lane and the Shapani bypass - can obtain ore and other raw materials fairly cheaply, which it uses in its manufacturing industry to produce ships and personal equipment. Lamuir IV is the political lynchpin, offering support of the legislature, which is controlled by democratically elected representatives, most of whom are Herglic due to their position as the planet's majority species.
