Ready are you? What know you of ready?
She arrived in the middle of the day. Typically ships touched down at Dreshdae, the main city on the dark and forbidding world. Instead her ship landed at a starport built atop an ancient temple overlooking a desolate valley. As seemed to be the way, the Force guided her here. A chill wind blew across the landing pad as she disembarked, but it didn't bother her. She felt a shiver go down her spine as her foot touched Korriban's surface. This had once been a place of great power for the dark side, though now only the merest shadows remained. Yet there was an undercurrent of malice here; she'd felt it before, as the Coalition too control of the planet and she sensed it now as soon as her ship had entered the bleak planet's atmosphere.
From this vantage point she could make out other temples scattered across the world's desert surface. Even at this distance she could perceive the eroded rock and crumbling stone of the once grand entrances. Beyond the valley, the city of Dreshdae was a mere speck on the horizon.
And then she felt it, the aura of another Force user — nearby. So this was why she was here? The last time it was to meet a friend that had fallen to the dark-side. She hoped this time around would be less challenging.
