Description: The very expensive and accurately named hellzone grenade was created with the sole function of putting targets through utter hell. Upon detonation, the grenade will release blinding light and deafening, disorienting sound. But it doesn't stop there: soon as the filler goes off,the conclusive blast will superheat and deploy countless rubber balls that, due to the nature of the material, will harden exponentially from the kinetic force and bounce around. Targets will be blinded, deafened and disoriented whilst getting pelted mercilessly by balls hard enough to break human bone and hot enough to burn skin. Along with this, non-lethal gas will spread up to a 6 meter radius and carry with it any respective effects.

Like just about anything that exists, there are some rather hindering flaws connected to the device. In order to be most effective, the grenade needs to be in an enclosed area lest the balls have nothing to ricochet off of. Furthermore, anyone wearing adequate enough armor could easily shrug off the balls and any helmet capable of doing so (which plenty are) could simply filter out the light and sound. By this same principal, the Hellzone grenade would have no effect on a droid

@[member="Xanthos"] - While I love that you know what Thermal Gel is, it's not ideal for this kind of thing. You could achieve pretty much the same result, and much cheaper, with simple rubber pellets. Flashbang grenades that send out rubber pellet barrages already exist, so you're basically making a much, much more expensive version that's functionally the same.

Now, if you're looking for a nonlethal shrapnel effect plus flashbang PLUS dispersal of 'any gas,' that's where we run into problems. We don't approve blank checks. If you want to use this as a dispersal method for some kind of biochemical agent, you need to specify one, or a short list, and flesh this out more.

The application of thermal gel was for it's ability to absorb heat and exponentially harden upon kinnetic force (i.e. the detonation of the grenade) that would give balls skin-searing and bone-cracking potential. Such potential lacking in mere rubber.

I'll get to work on the edits, but I wanted to clear that up.

@[member="Xanthos"] - Rubber travelling at grenade-shrapnel speeds hits much harder than that. Nonlethal grenades like that regularly cause injury, from both heat and impact. As for the heat, remember that thermal gel's job in canon is to be an insulator for people, and to be flexible and durable -- in other words, to be rubber.

• Accudrop, coma gas, FGA-583 and nytinite all do approximately the same thing - please pick one
• Cortosis can't be made into a gas
• Forcebreaker gas doesn't exist, and before I'll approve ixetal cilona, I need to make sure you've done enough research to have a realistic idea of how that works

By gas, I meant cortosis powder. Fixed.
All I know of the substance is what I got from wookieepedia articles stating deathsticks came in powder form and induced a weaker connection with the force as well as being a hallucinogen. I imagine it works much the same as cocaine or crystal Meth. ICly, Xanthanatos would have done the research and the many scientists of Abrogation Inc. would know.

I've consulted with higher authorities, and you can have either the cortosis dust (which most consider a waste of cortosis) or the ixetal cilona as an option, not both.
