As a matter of fact I do have a question, do I need a character already to join a faction?
I'm having some trouble thinking of a character that would fit the faction I want to join, but if I don't need one I will just join it.

You need to have a character sub account and a bio posted before you can start playing with a faction but you could join a faction forum with the account you have right now if you just wanted to learn more. But anything you want to do as far as playing the game will require an actual character. If that makes sense?
