Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned

Demonsgate
Moross Crusade Space

This planet was not one that one would venture to normally. If one were to, they'd either be crazy, stupid, or have some weird affinity for such planets. Or they were Jordan Reave. Cause Jordan Reave doesn't give a kark bout no hot ass planet.

He had an appointment here with another crusader. A very alluring one at that. This was obviously not the place to get laid, so it was not an appointment like that, surprisingly. No, he wanted to test her mettle. She if she was more than just a pretty face.

It was gonna be a fun day in Demonsgate.

How ironic is that?

Hey, ho, to Demonsgate I go.

A lava-covered planet of rock and fire. Perfect for me, seeing as fire was my element. But so was ice, and part of me looked with loathing at the lines of heat spreading from the lava. At least the thermals rising from the lava gave me something to fly on, or I would have had to trudge through brimstone to get to this appointment.

An interesting, if rather strange person was waiting for me. But who am I to judge? I have wings, damn it. I landed on the little rock island he was standing on, and waved, the action revealing the bulk of my warhammer peeking out above my shoulder.

"Hey there. Nice place you've got."\

Jordan smirked at her from beneath his hood that he then removed.

"Nice isn't the word I'd use, sister." he jested as he unhooked his cloak which fell lazily to the ground. He was wearing an outfit of simple dark leather from shoulders to toe.

"Didn't think I would ever get some alone time with you, Morrigan." he uttered. "Now that I do, I'm not quite sure what we shall do."

Jordan clasped his hands behind his back and slowly walked over to her. "Any ideas?"

I laughed and stuck out my tongue.

"A few. You should know, they all end with you on the ground."

I stretched my wings, and then retracted them closer to my back.

"I'd honestly rather not be on a planet that was so hot."

I formed a sheen of ice on my hand, which I put to my face, to keep cool. It did so for about fifteen seconds, and then melted as heat caused it to disintegrate.

"I mean, there's not much to do on a ball of rock that's been lit on fire and dipped in lava."

"Is that a threat or a promise, love?" he asked slyly.

Jordan simply smirked at the winged beauty standing before him. He even chuckled a bit at her low resistance to the heat and her method of cooling herself.

"It isn't so bad." he shrugged. "Okay, maybe a little." he added. "There's plenty we could do here. Bit of exercise, perhaps? That's always fun, no?"

I rolled my eyes, and grinned.

"If I wanted to exercise, I woulda' kept flying around. Great thermals, here. Of course, I could indulge in a little bit of a test."

I snapped my fingers, and a layer of fire coursed over my skin. The fire didn't cause me any discomfort, but the ice under the fire began to emerge, and it encroached over it, until I looked like a sculpture made of crystal. I shook my wings, and the ice cracked off, melting as it hit the ground.

"Well, that didn't work."

Jordan's eyebrow perked at this little spectacle she was putting on. He had no clue what the purpose of it was, but it was surely intriguing to watch.

"Well, that was interesting. What did I even just witness?" he asked as he crossed his arms and grinned slightly with interest.

"That was me and my limited grasp of pyromancy trying to make a heat shield, and ending up frozen, instead."

I grinned, and smoother my hair back down.

"I can call on both, but the ice is apparently an innate thing, rather than the fire, which I was taught."

[member="Jordan Reave"]

Jordan lightly cracked his shoulders and walked over to her slowly, eyeing her up and down.

"You grow even more fascinating with each passing moment, love." he said smoothly with a sly smirk followed by a wink.

"What's on the agenda today?" he asked.

I shrugged, and returned the wink.

"I'm standing here on what's basically a giant ball of lava, talking to a guy about what I'm going to do on said ball of lava. I have no plans, whatsoever."

[member="Jordan Reave"]

Jordan sighed heavily. "Well, might I suggest something?" he offered.

"How about a test of sorts, hmm?" He walked off a bit, looking off into the distance at a large patch of land littered by steaming hot geysers.

"A test of agility. To see who can make it past the geyser fields with the least fatal burns." he suggested with a sly smirk. "I promise to not outshine you much, love. But, I won't blame you if you're a bit scared of some hot water."
