DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
In general, the gun is special primarily for its double helix design, which causes the solid projectile to spiral, and therefore fly straighter than a non-helical round would. The top rail is modular, allowing different scopes to be put on. The bottom rail allows different grips or laser sights or a flashlight.

Strengths:
  • Helical rail fires a spiraling round that flies straighter than most other rail guns.
  • Round flies at 3km/s
  • Modular top and bottom rail
  • Nearly silent aside from electrical discharge
Weaknesses :
  • Heavier than the standard blaster rifle
  • Only 10 rounds per magazine
  • Power cell only lasts 20 shots
DESCRIPTION
In order to provide military services that are capable of standing up to the rigors of fighting against Force Users and enemy soldiers alike, a rail gun becomes a viable option. A helical rail gun has spiraling coils along the barrel that force the projectile to rotate, allowing it to fly fast and far. It's deadly at battlefield range, making it effective as a sniper, but equally as effective in close quarters combat, though it lacks the spray and the overall firing capacity of a standard blaster rifle, meaning that rounds need to be conserved more than is necessary with a blaster rifle. However, the lethality of the round and quietness make up for the shortcomings.

The rifle is heavier than the standard blaster rifle, a necessity with the coils and the solid projectile rounds. The short firing capacity requires that the user carry numerous extra power packs and filled clips at the ready. It adds weight to the wielder even beyond the weight of the rifle. Still, the gun is quite effective, and the rounds can't be deflected back at someone by a lightsaber like a blasters rounds could be.
