The Hekarth droid, nicknamed "Little Brother", is a custom-built surveillance and assassin companion created by Diarch Rellik and gifted to Helix. Roughly the size of a large crab, this droid features eight sleek, alchemically treated durasteel limbs, photoreactive camouflage plating, and a central red lens that hides a fragment of Force-attuned kyber crystal. This unique shard allows Hekarth to respond to emotional surges, intent, and Force disturbances in its immediate vicinity.
Despite its diminutive size, the Hekarth is not helpless. Its two forward limbs conceal retractable vibro-knives capable of disabling enemies with a focused strike or delivering a precise kill. It can crawl silently across ceilings, making it a perfect tool for infiltration or scouting. Its onboard transmitter can feed data back to a command link or Helix's helmet systems. A mimic module allows the droid to record short voice clips — whether for deception or mockery is up to the owner.
A hidden "crawl recall" behavior is hardcoded into the droid's memory. If Helix is incapacitated or unconscious, the droid will attempt to drag his body to safety or protect him. It is a dark-eyed familiar, watching and waiting.
