Standing within one of the many training chambers of the Knights Obisidian Academy located on Naboo, Caedyn awaited the arrival of his Daughter Kristyl Arenais.

The Confederacy of Independent Systems wasn't entirely foreign to the Jedi Knight as his former partner, the one significant other in his life Asaraa Vaashe Asaraa Vaashe , had and still served within the School of the Lotus, that of which their Daughter belonged to nowadays. History had not been entirely kind upon him and Asaraa due to their differences of service, she finding her place in the Confederacy and Caedyn that of the Order of the Silver Jedi at the time.

Never before had there been anyone in whom Caedyn had opened himself up to the way he had done with Asaraa; To the extent that it affected his judgement at times wherein his Jedi training discouraged them from allowing their emotions to lead the charge. Now with their Daughter in their lives, the mutual connection between them seemed to contrast Caedyn's difficult decision for them to split ways some time ago; The struggles of such a long-distance relationship, the rarity in which they saw one another had become too difficult to endure without threatening his peace of mind.

Today, despite his heart being in the Outer Rim Territories, Caedyn had chosen to serve alongside the Knights Obsidian in order to be closer to his Daughter, an active part of her life. He hated the idea of being an absent father. Being a young teenager, the years had already passed them by so quickly, Caedyn having been scarce enough for his liking.

Dressed in the Robes of the Je'daii Order, his hands held behind his back while pacing quietly about the training room studying the differences in architecture there on Naboo in comparison to the Jedi Enclave of Svivren, as well as the Silver Rest where he had previously resided before then.

With luck, his daughter would prove to be receptive and on time to their training session today.

An awkward reunion with Dad...

Being a kid with split parents could at times be difficult and uncomfortable, and while Kristyl's parents never fought with one another, her relationship with her Dad just wasn't as strong as that with her Mom. It wasn't that she didn't love him, but the times they'd spend together were usually one week out of every couple months or so with the exception of regular holo-calls that could often felt repetitive with little new to share between them.

Since his arrival on Naboo, things had been a little strange to get used to between her Mom and Dad, not to mention Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic ...-She always seemed to be in some sort of frustrating mood when Kristyl's Dad would come up in conversation between her and her Mom. In all honesty, the idea that her Dad was wanting to spend more time with her made Kris feel quite special. There were times where she had wished to be like the other kids having both parents around...-They weren't living together or anything but this was close enough to perfect that Kristyl had ever imagined being near in life.

Arriving dressed in her Lotus School Attire, Kristyl's dress-wear would differ somewhat from her fathers given his Je'daii background compared to the Knights Obsidian although they both seemed to share the same affinity of light they carried about their aura, a strong sense of presence in the Force that had been used to enhance the materials during their make. Situated upon her belt was the Lightsaber handed down to her by Asaraa Vaashe Asaraa Vaashe , one which her Dad would likely recognise.

As the doors slid open with a mechanical hiss and she stood there, eyes looking across into the room at the sight of her Dad, she couldn't help but grin widely, stepping in with a bit of a lightly skip. "Hey Dad!" She called, walking with a bit of an excited pace as she approached him eagerly.
