Even though Lilin was in a difficult emotional and mental state at that very moment, she thought she would still be able to take on a Padawan. She would give the young initiate everything she could and would most likely learn a lot from them. So in a matter of days, Lilin had been assigned a Padawan in the Jedi Order and she didn't have anything against it.

She herself had been on the planet of Kashyyyk for a while, treating people who had been attacked with a bioweapon by a pirate gang. She and the rest of the Jedi on the mission had been doing fine, but the amount of people who required help became larger every day, so Lilin had invited her new Padawan to join her on the mission.

And indeed, the girl was supposed to arrive there with an additional patch of medical resources. Lilin wasn't a healer herself, but she did have some guarding and fighting responsibilities in the Jedi camp. She was also responsible for investigating the whole pirate gang thing.

Because as it turned out, the gang was not going to stop their horrible massacres.

The Jedi had seen many dead people during the few days they'd been on the planet and with every new day, they saw only more of them. The Rogue Knight had a general idea of who the gang was and where they hid, but getting there required a little bit of manpower.

That's where she thought she'd take her Padawan along. If it would have been too difficult of a task or too dangerous, she wouldn't take her. But if her presumptions were correct, the gang was just a bunch of wannabe terrorists and were already running out of bioweapons and resources.

But that would have to happen once the Padawan was there.

Until then, Lilin stood in front of the camp, not thinking about her depression for once, and waited patiently. She knew the girl would arrive in a matter of minutes now.

She had spent most of the trip well avoiding the people. The others bringing medical supplies were not bad but she was a ghostling that was a very dangerous thing to touch while she was moving about the ship on her toes with the light robes and clothing. The pack of medical supplies looking almost as big as her when she stood next to it with a small smile on her face and the black of her hair with the ethereal white of her skin while she was tucking in smaller and smaller until she was secured avoiding the dangerous people and boxes. They were on the planet with a small gasp and she rubbed at her elbow walking through the cargo bay as it opened up with one of the large wookiees looking down down down at her as she offered a smile and he covered his eyes at her glow. "Ah do you know where my new master is?" The wookiee looked at her and pointed a massive paw towards the jedi while she bowed her head and moved quietly as she was the bright glowball moving around in the shadows of the trees and smallest thing there. "Ah master." She said it while looking at the jedi and standing there on her tip toes with the white robe glowing around her.

Lilin looked at the Ghostling, smiled to her, and turned her whole body towards her. As a greeting, she bowed at the young Padawan as she had heard this species can't quite touch others or anything. Perhaps she was not too much of a fighter type, after all. Well, she'd have to rethink her plans, but that was alright. In the grand scheme of things, such a difference didn't matter whatsoever.

"Good morning, my dear Padawan," the Knight spoke as she eyed the young one. "You may heard I am Lilin Imperieuse -- you may call me just Lilin -- but unfortunately, I haven't heard of your name."

It was a little bit embarrassing that she didn't even know the apprentice's name yet, but... that's what you get when you're away on a mission while you get a Padawan.

To be honest, Lilin didn't think she would be a good teacher, especially since she herself had a lot to learn and she hadn't had a Master during her time as a Padawan. Although the good thing was, as many others had told her that a lot, a Padawan's Master is there to oversee their training, not to teach them everything.

Lilin herself was an adventurous type of a person. She was a Guardian, meaning she would go on a lot of field missions where she would take her Padawan along. And she guessed the girl's time as Lilin's Padawan would be really busy -- Lilin was a member of many factions, including two different Jedi Orders. That meant she always had something to do.

Looking at her master as she stood there taking in everything she flicked her eyes around offering a soft smile. "I am pleased to meet you master, I am Dajara." She was looking at the things around them whle wondering what type of adventures they could get on while almost vibrating and bouncing in place. "I am excited to begin, I know we ghostlings are not ideal for a number of things but I can promise you'll never have to be afraid of the dark." She said it with a smile remaining on her face and she knew the score, weak bones, bruisable skin as well as tiring easily on any world not Datar.... but she had hopefully an infectious personality that would make some people happy.

"That is a good thing to keep in mind," Lilin said after hearing about what the Padawan can do. So Dajara was her name -- an interesting, yet a beautiful name. She could completely dig it. She had to think what they could do; because fighting was most definitely not going to happen that day. She had other ideas, but it was difficult to choose. After all, the very first task would leave the first impression of her as a Master.

"So, young Padawan, shall you join me at guarding the camp while I also do some investigation?"

She started walking into the camp as she waved at Dajara to follow her. It was interesting to see somebody walking like that on tiptoes. It made the girl seem a lot like a ballerina, whom Lilin had wanted to be growing up.

"There's an odd pirate gang causing us troubles and I think I am pretty close to a discovery. Yet... I can't leave the camp unguarded."

She looked at her master and was following lightly, compared t the wookiee's around them who seemed able to walk and stand firm. She was standing with some attention while moving around the camp with her master. "Yes I believe I can help guard master, though I do not know if I'd be as imposing as a wookiee." She kept moving and investigating with her master would be a more interesting way to start things off while the ideasgoing through her head about what types of pirates they were came. Spice smugglers, slavers, weapons runners, ones who stole and robbed everything not nailed down... There was a lot of it, they could be smuggling creatures even. "Do we know what type of pirates they are master?"

"I am sure you can help me," the girl said as she smiled to the Padawan. Of course the girl wouldn't be a scary guardsman, but she would still be an amazing scout or a watcher. So that whenever there was an attack, she could tell Lilin and then the Knight could act on the knowledge. She herself would be nearby, of course.

"I am pretty sure the pirates are actually just terrorists who have failed to make a powerful move against the Republic," she had to note. "I don't know who's funding them, but they seem to hail from the eastern areas of the galaxy."

She sighed as they made it to Lilin's little temporary office. Which was literally just a table and some area around it in open air.

"I don't think they are from the Hutt Cartel, in no way would they be from the Silver Sanctum Coalition. I think they're just wannabes who have some little corporation's funding."

Alright she could work with that while thinking about other groups in the eastern sections of the galaxy with a nodof her head. She was excited to work on some of the things they had now... This was a good cause and deed if they were terrorists who might harm people. "Then I will endeavor to find as much as possible." Or protect, she would be able to find some way to be useful and make sure everything went well while she stood in the makeshift office looking some of the things over while she turned around in it and felt the air on her face before moving to a small area to stand at the ready. "So where are we to begin master."

"We will start with one of the simplest things. The bioweapons they use are not some simple ones -- they are made by somebody who has serious knowledge of such weapons and I have no idea who to suspect in this case," the girl muttered as she started searching through her files. "I have tried to meditate on it, but it is too much for me as a Guardian."

She took a piece of paper and reach what was scribbled on it. Then she proceeded to look at her datapad. "I have a complete list of publicly known bioweapon manufacturers open and I am afraid none of them is to be suspected in this case."

She sighed.

"Alright, do you happen do have any ideas of who we could suspect?"

Bioweapons huh... She was thinking about it while she was tapping her chin lightly. "Well they should be unique like explosives and the ones who make them make them all differently. Maybe if we had a sample we could test it and see if there was any record of it being used." She was certain her master had likely tried that but go with the obvious, the other was maybe try to find where the attacks originated. "There is also maybe seeing where it came from. Might work backtracking it to a source if possible." She was trying to think of other ways to help and if they were on this planet or on the moon then it could be easier to find. If they were jumping into the system, launching and going back.. well that only left the galaxy.

"Good thinking," Lilin said. "But the hardest part is that the attacks are really difficult to track. The weapons they use don't leave much behind -- once they're used, the chemicals seem to disappear. I am not a scientist, but I think that's some crazy thing."

She looked at the Padawan.

"We'll have to wait for the next attack to see where the weapons could be coming."

The girl smiled at Dajara as she came out behind the table and sighed. She was so close to solving all of that, now there were only mere steps towards knowing what the hell had been happening.

"It's just sad that such people even exist -- those who aimlessly, without a feeling of shame, kill others. No person should ever kill anybody. And if there is really a need for that, you should never feel good doing that. Keep that in mind."

She nodded to her master at what she said while she stood there and thought about it. Killing someone was never something she wanted to do bt a jedi had to be prepared for such things to happen. She understood that and that there would be some sort of tension or dislike which was good. "I meant the engines, they would leave a way t track it with the right sensors. We could see what went over head and compare it to wookiee vessels and standard ones that are around." She was going off a lot of guesswork but had the desire to be impressive at least with her mind over her physical abilities. She was looking at her master ready to work on the hard things they had to do to find these bioweapon users and stop them.... preferably with no violence but she knew the stories... that was a rare thing for a criminal who was willing to give up without a fight.

"A good idea. However, we lack the professionals right here at the moment. They were off to Chazwa to test some things or something," Lilin explained as she looked at the sky.

"However, what I think we can do is to talk to some of the survivors."

They'd evacuated a lot of people who had been too close to the places where bioweapons landed. They'd been provided some comfort and aid to deal with the loss of those close to them and much more, but they hadn't been questioned about the matter yet.

"Do you think you could be able to join me while we try to get that knowledge from some of the wookiees?"

She shrugged as she continued, "They could know something about where they came from."

Looking at her master while she thought about it well there was a great many things she could do while helping her master and she bowed her head in acknowledgement. "Yes master, I will be happy to help you and prepared to help the wookies." She bowed and remained there making her small form seem a little smaller as she moved around to join her master. She kept her arms and hands in close to herself before she thought about some of the survivors. "These ones that survived, are they sick or feeling the effects? The bioweapons could make them carriers waiting to go to populated areas."

"Hmm, indeed. To my knowledge, the sick ones are separated from those who show no sign of illness," Lilin said as they moved towards the central building in the camp. She couldn't even imagine how bad it would feel to be attacked by something like that. Even though these weapons were nothing extremely powerful, they still had rather ugly effects on people.

As they walked past the head of this mission, the girl said a simple, "Hello," to her, after which she marched into the building itself.

"So yeah, here are some of the wookiees who were not affected by the weapon but who were nearby and saw all of that happening," she said while looking at all of them. Her eyes tried to find one which they would choose to talk to, but she had literally no idea of who could provide the clearest and most correct answers.

She waved at a protocol droid to come to her while she asked from the Padawan, "Who shall we talk to?"

Walking with her master was a treat... mostly because the wookiees they passed gave a look to the small glowing woman compared to her master who at least didn't look like she could be picked up with one hand or blown into the shadowlands with a sneeze. It got something nice the padawan could respect before she was going inside. "The strongest ones should who are able to talk would be the best one to start, though if they are sick they could have been closer and seen more but.... they might not be able to speak." She was thinking about what might be there and who might be best to speak while she was looking around at the wookiees and offering a hand hovering over them in some small comfort.

"Yes," Lilin agreed with the Padawan as she eyed the amount of Wookiees. The protocol droid walked over to Lilin, after which she said, "We need your help at talking to the locals."

"That's what I was made for," he said, but Lilin hardly listened to him. Instead, she looked at Dajara, smiled, and asked, "Have you picked out one which we would question about the weapons?"

Lilin was not a simple teacher. She was, first and foremost, an adventurer, and was in missions more often than in any Jedi Temple. She was a member of both the Jedi Order and the New Jedi Order, although she would leave the first one as soon as she could. That is, after Dajara would get Knighted. She had to admit, she had not been to the Jedi Order temple for a while now.

Nor had she been in the Galactic Alliance's temple a lot more.

Dajara looked at her master and then turned back to look at the wookie's. She wasn't entirely certain about who she would be able to get the most information from but she stood over one. Kind of... she was still small compared to him on the gurney being over looked by the doctors and medical droids so it gave her plenty of time to squeeze in there next to the bed as she spoke softly looking down at him. "Hello, we are from the jedi order and we are here to help you." She looked over and motioned for an open space to let her master get in close as she offered him a reassuring smile for comfort.
