Biological

Age: 42

Sex: Male

Height: 1,72m | 5'8"

Weight: 71 kg | 152 lbs

Eyes: Green

Hair: Dark Brown

Appearance:
Hayato mostly wears traditional clothing, consisting of simple blue pants tied with a short piece of rope functioning as the belt and often a simple white shirt underneath a large blue scarf that covered most of his upper body and doubled as a short-cape, due to its length. In hot and temperate environments he often times ditches the shirt, however, and only wears his scarf, often enough to cover most of his body. The parts that aren't covered expose the many battle scars he has taken over the years, most small and simple cuts, but some deeper and greater. He always wears his dark brown hair tied back, though nowadays it is far shorter than it used to be. At his sides, he keeps a simple, empty wooden sheath, a flute, and his lightsaber. He rarely wears armour or any technology that cannot be replicated with simple wood or stone.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

+ Blademaster: Decades of training and combat have honed Hayato's blade-work to the point of mastery.
+ Martial Artist: Initially taught by a master of Teräs Käsi, Hayato has become very skilled in the use of the technique, even incorporating it into his blade-work.
- Pacifist: Despite his prowess in combat, Hayato's first response to conflict is not violence. Whenever he can he will avoid violence, only turning to it if absolutely necessary.
- Perhaps a little naive: Hayato believes that all beings can be turned to the light. His philosophy is not ruled by determinism like that of some, making it exploitable.
- Time doesn't heal everything: To say the least, Hayato's life has not been the smoothest and all his past experiences weigh down on him. He's a cheery and usually calm and collected individual, but the shackles of the past weigh heavily on him.
- Burden of the Dead: Spending years within the realm of the dead has caused his abilities and mind to begin to deteriorate. While his mind has mostly stayed intact, his abilities will take time to be back at their peak.

Biography:

Born on an isolated world to a former Jedi Master and his wife, Hayato was raised by his parents and trained in the ways of the Force by his father. This time of his life was fairly calm and uneventful, aside from the various adventures his parents and him had on the mostly unexplored world of Rysil II. Hayato was well on his way to becoming a great swordsman, taught the importance of using his gift of the Force for good from an early age. When Hayato reached his teens, however, his father passed away, laid to rest at a mountain a short distance away from the village. Several days did the young Atrisian spend there, mourning his father's passing, until one day he spotted smoke coming from his village.

Immediately he made his way back to the village, only to find it burning and plundered, its inhabitants taken by slavers. Terrified and alone, all the young Hayato could think of doing was to go to a place he felt comfortable at, so he returned to his father's grave, where he sat for hours and hours until they eventually turned into days. A distress signal had been running throughout all this time, however, one that was picked up by a Jedi who came to investigate it. Soon enough he had discovered the burnt village, though he felt the young Hayato through the Force, so he went to take the young boy back to Coruscant.

During their journey, the Jedi discovered that Hayato had been trained in the ways of the Force in a way that most other Jedi were and was told about Hayato's father and the training he gave to his son. Seeing as he had already received a lot of training, the Jedi decided to adopt him as one of their own, filling the few gaps he had in his training. Over time he reached the age and experience to become a Padawan and was taken under the tutelage of Jedi Master Kiskla Grayson. He experienced many adventures with the other Padawan's under Master Grayson's care and quickly became involved in some major scraps and confrontations, culminating in the Invasion of Ossus.

During the battle of Ossus he fought several battles, most notably against another Force User driven mad by the sorceries of the Sith and a follower of the Dark Side who wished to escape the grasp of the Sith so she may redeem herself. After the battle, he was judged ready to become a Knight of the Jedi. He embraced this new responsibility and instantly went to work as a Peacekeeper for the people of the Galaxy.

Doubt had, however, taken ahold of him. He had seen reports of what the Jedi and the Galactic Republic were doing on the holonet and was slowly becoming more and more aware of their true colours. The Jedi were not peacekeepers anymore, they had turned to be warmongers, the Galactic Republic spun tales of freedom and morality, yet they bombed civilian and enemy alike. These actions were too much, for the Jedi Knight and he quickly grew disenfranchised, culminating in his departure from both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi.

Instead he sought out the Imperial Knights of the Fel Empire. He had heard tales about their just and peacekeeping ways, attributes Hayato valued highly. Thus he made his way to be part of the Fel Empire, joining their Imperial Knights and serving under their Emperor, Ronin Fel. Though he enjoyed their more justice oriented approach, he quickly grew to dislike their more aggressive approach to many problems. Hayato was not a supporter of violence, a quality that had made him favour Form II heavily, so the Imperial Knights' more pragmatic and utilitarian approach to the Force did not resonate well with him, eventually causing him to leave their Order as well as the Fel Empire collapsed and made way for the New Order and the Sith.

After this time he eventually came to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and their Templar Order. The Templars seemed far more relaxed and varied in their approach to the Force, their members as colourful and varied as the Force itself seemed to be. Hayato came to enjoy this diversity, it exposed him to many ways of thinking and too many views of the Force. Here he also met several people who would become his long-time friends, one of whom was a Zabrak warrior named Krest. Another one was a Mandalorian warrior named Isley Verd, a leader of the CIS who became a good ally. Within the Confederacy was also where he created his first Force-imbued blade under the tutelage of Josiah Denko, who was responsible for his first encounter with advanced Force Techniques.

The years went by and bit by bit Hayato's skill as a Force User grew. He took part in many battles, learned many techniques, and fought many duels, often lending his wisdom to those less experienced too. Eventually, he gained enough recognition and experience that the Masters of the Templar Order deemed him to be ready to become a Master of the Force himself. It was a time of great celebration for the Atrisian, who accepted this new role with gratitude and humility.

After achieving the rank of Master he became more of a lone wanderer, however. Many experiences and the past had begun catching up with him, in particular, a duel he had participated in during a tournament against a Master mentalist named Jared Ovmar. The Dark Jedi had broken through his mind's defences and made many of his darkest memories resurface, an act that had taken a toll on the man. Now wandering the Galaxy he helped out wherever he could, becoming involved in various adventures.

Eventually, he found his way back to the Jedi, having heard of their ways changing, just as his own Templar Order was taking a turn for the worst. He met with the Jedi Council who reinstated him as a Jedi, only for him to be disappointed again when they ousted their Grandmaster, who had been the driving force behind their path towards peace. Disappointed and disillusioned once more he departed to be part of the Templars again, who he served until the day the Omega Protectorate invaded the Confederacy of Independent Systems at Druckenwell.

The entire battle had been cursed from the start. Both sides had engaged on the planet and on the shipyards surrounding the planet. Hayato had taken it upon himself to aid in the evacuation of the station and protection of civilians. However, these tasks did not last long as the station was brought down upon the planet, the repulsor engines that kept it afloat destroyed by saboteurs. He made his escape in a starship that picked him up after he had been ejected into space, but he felt the millions of souls that died that day, millions of souls that would leave a permanent scar on his own.

With all the events he had endured, he wished to finally take time off and find inner peace, for which he ventured to the grave of his father on Rysil II, only to find it and his village desecrated by a Sith Lord and his apprentices. The Sith, sensing the inner turmoil of the Jedi, took advantage of his inner conflict and drove the man to the Dark Side using similar techniques to those of Jared Ovmar. Now a direct apprentice of a Sith Lord, Hayato did unspeakable things that only drove him further and further into madness, until one day he attempted to usurp the Sith Lord, subconsciously unable to stand his own body carry out these terrible acts of violence.

His attempt failed, however only mostly. While he was unsuccessful in taking over the Sith's body, becoming an incorporeal spirit, he also became deeply connected to the Sith's mind, keeping him in a limbo between the Galaxy and the Netherworld. This circumstance had a positive effect as well, however, clearing most of the madness that had befallen him from his own mind, allowing him to think freely once more. He bore witness to the Sith's actions for many years, attempting to convince the Sith of his false ways. He witnessed the Sith's continued rise to power and his battles on the side of the First Order. The Sith had been one of the many to board the station, where battle reigned supreme as explosions and ship parts were thrown all over the station's hangar and corridors.

Inside this station was also where Hayato made one of his first breakthroughs, nearly costing the Sith Lord his life in a duel with another Master of the Force who had come to plunder the station's riches as well. This victory did not last long, however, as the Sith simply moved on to found a new Sith league with the one who had slain the Dark Lord of the One Sith. Yet, this new endeavour did not last long, culminating in a massive battle on the planet of Atrisia, where the Sith gave his life in order to empower a massive Force Storm that wrought chaos and destruction throughout the Atrisian System, embracing the Force in his last moments of life and finally accepting Hayato's philosophy.

The body of the Sith finally dead, both the Sith and him could finally make their way to the Netherworld fully, where they wandered the weird and unfamiliar planes together for a while, parting ways after fully settling their differences, the Sith falling deeper into the Netherworld, becoming trapped in Chaos for his actions, whereas Hayato remained alone in the Netherworld.

Until the day a familiar man came to Coruscant with a peculiar crystal. He had come to the Netherworld portal to collect the souls of the dead to empower himself, along with those souls he captured that of Hayato and the rest, as they say, is history.
