STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Hawk's skills with a lightsaber are something of legend. As a young Jedi Knight he honed his skills with a blade in the harshest environments imaginable, and during a time of great galactic turmoil his battles against the Sith forged him into a deadly warrior. To test his skills with a blade he entered the so called "Tournament of the Saber" and emerged victorious, and later defended his crown multiple times. Two of his greatest feats include the time he killed The Lady Athena, a Sith Lord of ancient power, in single combat, and later dueled the "Four Horsemen", self-styled Sith of death and destruction, in the final moments before the fall of their dynasty.
Hawk is keenly attuned to the force and expertly finds strength in its every nuance. Through his understanding of the Force, Hawk is especially adept at absorbing or deflecting other force or energy attacks. Hawk's knowledge of the force has led him to write numerous entries for the Jedi Archives.
Hawk has an incredibly sharp and focused mind; he sees things that many often miss. This allows him to plan things meticulously, but also adapt to changing situations. These skills were honed in many battles where his ability to see the bigger picture allowed him to orchestrate great victories over the forces of evil.
Hawk has something of a "Hero complex" which often leaves him overwhelmed trying to save everyone; even the most irredeemable of Sith. Some of Hawk's greatest defeats have stemmed from this character flaw, which many consider to be a form of arrogance.
Despite his impressive record on the battlefield, Hawk always considers himself a teacher above all else. To this end he has authored many texts within the Jedi Archives and taught many Padawans. The internal conflict between the warrior he has had to be, and the scholar he wishes to be has often led him to agreeing to train Padawans who were clearly unsuited to the Jedi life...meaning he has passed his knowledge on to as many new Sith as he has Jedi.
APPEARANCE:
Hawk usually wears traditional brown Jedi robes and off white tunic. He carries a light-blue lightsaber as his main weapon, but he also carries a lilac backup which is strapped to his left leg.
BIOGRAPHY:
Hawk was born on Tatooine. His mother ran a small farm and his father was absent most of the time as part of a pirate crew. Hawk's father had once been a Jedi, but had renounced his powers and taken up the criminal lifestyle on the outer rim world to marry his love and raise his two sons away from the restrictive Jedi order.
Unfortunately Hawk's father ran up a lot of debt and was hunted down by bounty hunters and sent to work the spice mines of Kessel.
Hawk; his mum, and his brother were all sold into slavery, but allowed to keep the farm to provide food for their masters to sell. The masters were brutal and beat their slaves often, though Hawk's older brother Kyte would fight back so as to draw their attention away from his younger sibling.
The force was strong within the two brothers, but they hid their powers from their masters so as not to become weapons for them to use.
Time passed and eventually their uncle tracked them down. He was a smuggler and had a ship called The Phoenix (which now belongs to Hawk). Together they hatched a plan to escape the clutches of their masters. The first step meant disabling their ability to activate their implants and instantly kill them. So together Hawk and Kyte broke into their masters' compound to look for the control system. I didn't take them long to find it and destroy it, but when it came time to leave Kyte would not come. The darkside had already began to corrupt his heart and mind and revenge took him back into the compound wherein he would massacre their old masters.
The paths of the two brothers were now forever diverged as Hawk escaped with his uncle and was taken to the Jedi Temple to start his training.
(There is more than a decades worth of back story for me to sift through and adapt, so will update as I go)
