Biography
Hastur-Yig, rather weak in comparison to some of his similar races was captured by a band of mercenaries to be studied on by a unknown scientist with an interest in the race. Yig, being so weak and frail in comparison to some more hulking examples. After awakening inside the Cargo Barge used for discrete travel he began to consume the surrounding captors. After having his fill he understood more of them, realizing that he could learn from them he took precautions. Using his tentacles he was able to capture his captors and keep them alive for as long as he needed to to keep himself fed off of them. In short they were used as cattle and he learned much from them. The first person he ate was a force user of some calibur and he began to expand his already potent knowledge of the force. He is still on this ship studying his knowledge of old Force Magic and Force Abilities though other beings come to him for knowledge and training. He accepts all as long as they feed him.
