  • Weight: Average (5 kg each)
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • Cleave: About twice the size of an average battle axe each, the sheer weight of the Hands of Hell allow them to slice through flesh and infantry armor as if it were butter. When thrown, the Hands of Hell's added velocity compliments their weight so effectively that they can slice through the frontal armor of a light armored vehicle.
  • TIMBER!!!!: Due to their large blades and origins as lumber axes, the Hands of Hell can slice through dense foliage and small to medium trees with great efficiency.
  • Backstab: In emergencies or close quarters confrontations, the Hands of Hell have a four inch long blade on the back of the axe head. When the axe is flipped around or flung backwards, these blades can inflict lethal jab wounds.
  • Lightsaber Resistant: Thanks to the Barricas Oil applied to the Hands of Hell, the blades are able to parry lightsaber blades for some time.
Weaknesses:
  • Bigger Isn't Always Better: The Hands of Hell are flawed in close quarters, where their size makes them clunky and hard to maneuver. Its smaller blades only partially alleviate this issue, and a swordsman can easily parry the much weaker blows.
  • Strong Men Only: The strength of the Hands of Hell is largely dependent on the strength of its user. While a large, well-built specimen such as Krarolk can throw the Hands great distances with blinding speed, a smaller or weaker individual may not be able to wield the heavy axes without difficulty.
  • One At A Time: In battle, Krarolk can only throw one axe at a time to maximize efficiency, and his other axe has to be sheathed to ensure an optimal throw is performed. Additionally, in a melee duel, Krarolk cannot effectively use both axes without hurting himself or weakening his grip, so needs a Hand sheathed at all times. Consequently, Krarolk can only use half of his melee arsenal at a time.
  • Axe in a Swordfight: Despite being larger than most throwing axes, the Hands of Hell are still single-bladed axes that are ill-suited for extended periods of melee combat.
DESCRIPTION
When Krarolk became a Zealot Elite, he was given the honor of being able to create his own weapons.
In his years as a Minor, Krarolk had been fond of axes, especially lighter, throwable axes. Consequently, he decided that his weapons of choice would be a pair of throwing axes. Forged of copper and quadranium, the axes had a very sharp edge and their weight gave them the ability to inflict a heavy blow. While large by human standards, the "Hands of Hell" were designed by Krarolk to be throwable. In fact, when testing out his new axes, Krarolk's throwing record was nearly twenty meters.
