(+)Pragmatic: Though driven by a philosophical mind Haga's actions are often founded in practicality.
(+)Intelligent: Having spent much of his life in study, Haga has developed book smarts. Though he is certainly not a master in any subject, he can usually converse on any given topic.
(+/-) Unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
(-) Non conformist: Haga is known to hold mainstream galactic culture in contempt for what he considers its arrogant, self righteous and self serving nature. This translates into making his personality of a more wild nature and often leads to a disregard or even opposition to rules and authority.
(-)Vindictive: Haga holds a strong, almost unreasonable capacity for revenge.

BIOGRAPHY:
Haga's parents, both laborers on Taris died while Haga was very young and having no other surviving family on the planet, Haga was sent to an orphanage. Taris during Haga's childhood, though it was a progressive society, remained divided between upper and lower class citizens. Aliens, or non humans, such as Haga were almost predominantly considered lower class. However through a clerical error Haga ended up at an upper class orphanage and was saved from a life in Taris's slums. Unfortunately however this resulted in Haga spending his childhood among humans who often considered him an outsider due to their humanocentric culture. With few friends and a relatively hostile environment, young Haga spent his childhood engrossed in books, reading anything he could get his hands on.
At the age of 7 Haga was finally screened as a force sensitive and sent to one of the many jedi youngling pods scattered around the galaxy. He retained his habit of reading, and eventually let go of his distrust for humans and by the time he was selected as a Padawan, Haga had both a sharp mind and an inquisitive nature.
Haga's aptitude with mental skills being more robust then his martial prowess led to the young man being assigned to a Jedi Consular, specifically Jedi Knight Takato Leer. Takato was infamous as a strict disciplinarian whose sour disposition was matched only by her age and expansive knowledge. However under Takato's tutelage Haga thrived as she fed both his thirst for knowledge and desire for "family".
Unfortunately, age caught up with Takato and she became one with the force before being able to complete Haga's training.
On route to Tython for the assignment of a new master, Haga found himself waylayed in Techno Union space.
