Description:

The HAED-L weapon system puts reliability and firepower before anything else. Whereas other weapons may become jammed or broken when exposed to the elements, such as mud, dirt and water, the HAED-L will be able to continue firing at its full potential. It is capable of this because of the large cavity in its reciever, this allows obstructions to be moved away from the firing mechanism instead of getting jammed in the action. This doesn't doesn't completely remove the possibility of jams but does greatly reduce the chances. If the weapon does jam it can repaired on the spot if immediate action drills are followed. Even though it is very resilient to wear and tear, it is not invulnerable. Like most weapons, this rifle must also be cleaned but can be done so on a less regular basis than other similar rifles and guns. If the necessary cleaning steps are not taken, corrosion will occur on the inner workings of the weapon and restrain its performance, making it a less effective killing weapon.

The under barrel rail and scope mounts are universal to almost all weapon systems available. This means that there is no shortage of attachments for this weapon and that it is not required of the user to buy specialist attachments if they are needed. Because of this fact, the HAED-L has become a favourite among soldiers who wish to customise and improve their weapons. Under barrel grenade launchers are common attachments as the sturdy frame and heaviness of the rifle compliment the effects and presence of the launcher, increasing the accuracy and reducing recoil. However these attachments are not absolutely necessary to maintain the rifle’s performance. The iron sights of the weapon are also very robust and reliable, because of this the manufacturer recommends using them instead of any potentially fragile sight as they are unlikely to break when in combat.

The materials used in the weapon are of the highest quality and are completely covered in a corrosion resistant substance to further increase the weapons reliability and its lifespan. Generally, the price of the HAED-L rifle is higher than the average price of other rifles, this is due to the high quality materials used in its production and its longer expected lifespan. The Orion Corporation are so sure this weapons reliability that they have a one year guarantee. If the weapon breaks within the first year of purchase the Orion Corporation will either fix it or return a completely new one completely free of charge.
