Description: The Gunray Facility is a recently constructed ''super-factory'' of sorts, one of many built by the CIS across the desert world, and currently the largest. Overseen by the Super Tactical Droid, Aut-X, the Gunray Facility was designed to produce the vast amount of war material used by the new Confederacy of Independent Systems. The location of the facility is a closely guarded secret, it's entrance hidden by twisting canyons and ravines, forming a natural protective barrier. The facility constantly produces the vast amount of battle droids, weapons and vehicles used by the CIS Droid Army. The facility is manned by several thousand Geonosian workers and protected by two full legions of Battle Droids and Geonosian Warriors, under the direct command of Colonel Aut-X. Other defenses include a powerful shield generator to protect the facility from orbital bombardment, as well anti-air guns carefully hidden in the rock formations above the foundry. A vast network of security force fields and auto-turrets protect the interior of the facility, ensuring that the Gunray Facility can withstand any potential siege for a great amount of time.
Foundries: The vast underground facility would be comprised primarily of dozens of massive foundries, with sections devoted to the manufacture of droids, vehicles and weaponry specifically.
Laboratories: The facility would also play host to a sizeable research laboratory, assigned the task of developing new military technologies for the Confederate arsenal.
Geonosian Tunnels: A network of tunnels traditionally used by the Geonosian populace as a place to sleep are conveniently located right next to the facility, allowing the Geonosian workers and warriors a very short journey to their place of work.
Aut-X's Private Retreat: Nestled away behind a great amount of security would be the private chambers of the Gunray Facility's droid overseer, Aut-X. Located inside would be a large amount of Clone Wars-era relics, a private museum of sorts, providing a place for Aut-X to quietly reflect on his past.
History: A newly built facility constructed by a great many Geonosian workers sworn to secrecy, the Gunray Facility was designed to fulfil the role of a primary military production facility for the Confederate war machine by the Super Tactical Droid, Aut-X. It's construction was funded by several Geonosian hives loyal to the CIS, it's location known only to high ranking Geonosian and CIS officials. The vast facility took six months to complete, and was originally a Techno Union project before being continued by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Intent: To provide the Confederacy of Independent Systems with a new foundry to produce war material for it's ongoing expansion.
