Purpose: The purpose of Project GUNDARK Serum is to increase muscle mass drastically, effectively making the user far more physical fit. Its secondary purpose was to increase reaction time, which it achieves, but not by very much, on average increasing reaction time by only 8%.
Side Effects: Rapid muscle growth hurts, a lot, and often is known to seriously harm the person using the drug. To prevent this morphine was added in an attempt to drown out the pain. This has caused it to be extremely addictive for pleasure, but also repeated uses stops muscles from reverting and causing even more pain, or pain when you have to use it again and your muscles go through the process. Best to keep using to keep your muscles that size so no more pain.

What do you get when you want to create a super serum for cheap? A not very effective super serum with nasty side effects. This was Nova-Viridi Green's first attempt at creating something for military application and it went nearly as well as a corporation previously run by pacifists could have done with the resources they had. It was a fluke by modern standards. The DNA they used would be implemented into the host body for just long enough for a change to occur but the host would ultimately end up rejecting the alien DNA and repairing it with its own, causing massive damage to the host. Myra saw very little use for this on the commercial market, but soon found that the less than legal parts of society would pay good money for this kind of tech, especially when it wasn't diluted by some junky in his garage. So she kept producing it in small automated factories hidden away or disguised as something else.
