---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
(+) Force Constipated- It's not that Gulliver is Force sensitive, or Force dead, he just doesn't give a crap. He's not impressed by your glowstick, and it's his experience that it's awful hard to Choke someone or throw them around if you dump a load of buckshot in their chest. He's been there, done that, and got the T-shirt, and you'll have to try awful hard to make him care that you're a space wizard.
(+) Commander- Gulliver is extremely skilled in directing troops into battle. An artilleryman by trade, he's none the less familiarized himself with effective tactics for infantry, armor, and air support. Though he'd much rather ride into the hottest part of the battle on a swoop bike, he realizes that he's getting too old for that stuff, and that his place is in the TOC.
(-) Getting Old- There's a saying that goes something along the lines of "be wary of an old man in a profession where most men die young". By human standards, Gulliver isn't even middle aged, but by a soldier's standards, he's ancient. His body has been beaten and abused above and beyond what it was meant to handle, and it lets him know. Joint pain is a constant companion. His hearing is nonexistent. His reaction times have slowed down as well. He's still a formidable fighter, but he's not a kid anymore.
(-) Chemical Dependency- There are two things Gulliver needs to get through the day: caffeine and nicotine. If you remove either one from the equation, he will cut you. As a result, his cardiovascular system is a mess, and since his preferred form of tobacco is chew, he's had several precancerous spots on his lip treated. Really, it's a race to see whether enemy fire can kill him before his vices.

APPEARANCE:
Gulliver is tall, though not outrageously so.

His face is fairly ordinary. Average features, maybe a little weak on the chin, with skin so weathered it could pass for leather. His hair is rapidly turning grey and is starting to thin as well.

Though he's build like a brick house, years of poor diet and stress are catching up with him, and he has a little bit of a paunch that won't go away no matter how much he works out.

You'll hardly ever see the old man out of uniform, usually fatigues suited to whatever climate he's in.

BIOGRAPHY:
From a young age, Gulliver wanted to be a soldier. So as soon as he turned 18, he dropped out of school and enlisted in a mercenary battalion. He showed tremendous aptitude for leadership, and was quickly commissioned. After fifteen years of hard work and dedication, he inherited command of the battalion. In keeping with battalion tradition, they voted to change the company name to Gulliver's Travelers, in honor of their new commander.
