- K40 Targeting System: Used generally on military bases, the software allowed multiple weapons to convert onto various targets or concentrate fire on a single target. This is to help supplement the 840.z Holo-Targeting Suite when ordered to converge all weapons on one enemy point. (x)
840.z Holo-Targeting Suite: In conjunction with the targeting computer, the 840.z Holo-Targeting Suite allowed improved accuracy for gunners on the Guardian. This was a necessary upgrade as the targeting computer itself was strained from the large amount of weapons systems, the 840.z allowing it to balance out the strain. (x)
Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor: The Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor detects flucations in the local area though not of its destination nor the type of ship. This sensor is used for the purposes of intercepting or patrolling heavily guarded sections of space. Also used to prevent being ambushed via hyperspace, giving some notice for stations to be at the ready. (x)
- Made for against Bryn'adul: Due to the growing crisis, the Guardian was designed in mind to go against the Byrn'adul with many weaponry that burns through the hull of their enemy starships.
- Try and Catch Me: For a Battlecruiser its size, it is rather fast and maneuverable so it be a pain to catch.
- Fire on Everything!: The amount of weaponry on this is stupidly impressive and made more for either concentrated fire on one target for destruction to melt down or on multiple starfighters.
- Not Made for Regular Combat: Against other battlecruisers, it is not outfitted for a proper fight and most likely would lose. It is made exclusively for the Bryn'adul.
- Tiny Hanger Bay: It barely has enough room for starfighter squadrons, giving it a rather dull edge to its ability to fight other battlecruisers.
- SLAM Issues: It cannot be used repeatedly as overuse can cause the engines to fail completely, stranding the Guardian till it is repaired.
The Battle for Nar Shadda would soon be approaching. While the series of batteries were being developed for such an occasion with his new vehicles, the threat of one being near Nar Shadda or Nal Hutta became a massive concern. There was a need to create a battlecruiser powerful enough to rival the Bryn'aduls, they needed a ship that can do damage to them when most could not. The idea finally came from an old junker near Nal Hutta floating in space to which Haon pointed and planned from there. Overhauling several old systems, he updated the entire array and ordered strange weaponry of old which was of railguns, specialty torpedos, lightning guns and Fiota's Fire. The amount of weaponry being slapped onto it was immense, people were wondering how they could fit this much in and the answer came quick.
The entire hanger bay was ripped out to add in space for ammunition racks and weapon stations. The amount of people required to make the place work was unbelievable and with the entire state of affairs being in a hurry, only minimal special systems were introduced along with the prototype of SLAM. Haon had been working on a SLAM II model for a long while and the last thing he needed to test was on the largest ship. Making some adjustments and modifications, he added in the SLAM systems to give the Guardian of the Jewel the edge it deserved. It was now not only fast and maneuverable, but deadly in every right.
Testing was done quick, on a few asteroids nearby for some miners as it rather quickly tore apart all of the minerals around it. It proved to be a success and was quickly shipped out towards the planets, hopefully not to late for its defense.
