Description:
The GT-1 is the start of a Graug technological revolution as they hide in secret on the planet of Sabarene. GT is the abbreviated form of a Graug Phrase “Gragan Tako” which translates as War Fighter, the Graug designation for fighters and interceptors. Despite this Graug designation, the galaxy at large has taken to calling these droid starfighters “Omen Starfighters”.

The Omen utilizes a single Ion engine to propel it through space and can either be transported on a capital ship or laid out around space in a low power state to commit surprise attacks against invading forces. If laid out for a surprise attack, the vessel is attached to a liquid boost engine that fires the fighter itself outward at extreme speeds so that the vessel can break through fighter screens and close in before point-defense can acquire them. The downside to this is that, due to the process of deploying Omen’s with boosters, this tactic is only able to be used for defense and in offensive situations the Omens must be deployed from a hanger.

The shields are what you’d expect from any standard starfighter and the standard armament is geared toward close range combat with the opposition’s fighters. The main gun is mounted in the large, red “eye” of the ship and is a BLC-2 Burst Laser cannon that is often considered the starfighter equivalent to a scattergun. The second and third laser cannons are standard Gatling lasers much like those found on tri-fighters. Since one launcher had to be scarified for the extra laser firepower, the ship holds only one proton torpedo launcher with four warheads.

Finally, the suicide loadout scarifies all offensive and defensive capabilities of the vessel in favor of planting a gravity bomb within the hull of the ship. Due to the lack of weaponry the vessels have using this loadout, using this tactic in an offensive capacity is nearly a lost cause. The best, and almost only, way to go about using these suicide vessels to their intended purpose is to attach the vehicle to its booster and launch it at unsuspecting enemy craft during a defensive operation.

Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience approve this as it currently stands. Specifically, because of the proposed booster system in conjunction with the gravity bomb. I feel like this could be abused quickly and could lead to a number of problems. As well, since the craft already possesses a speed of 1, it couldn't go faster without event tech. So I'm afraid either the booster system must go or this cannot be approved.
