Intent: With the Greys quest to master both Dark and Light, it was decided that each member should hold an item of each side upon reaching Knight Level. This gauntlet would be the Dark Side item.

Development Thread:

Step Two (Part one, the gauntlet making, is finished. Part two is for something else)

Manufacturer: Krest

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Order of the Grey (Restricted to Knight level or higher)

Modularity: The style of the gauntlet is decided by the one who wishes to wear it. It can go from a full gauntlet to a small bracer.

Production: Limited

Material: Alchemised Metal

Classification: Multipurpose

Weight: Weight of the item is dependent on the style chosen.

Full gauntlet- 2 kg
Bracer- 1.5 kg

Quality: 4

Special Features:

  • Lightsaber Resistant
  • Resists, but doesn't reflect blasters
  • Absorbs Force Lightning for a short duration.
Description: The gauntlets were made to be a staple item of those within the Grey. They provide the dark needed to keep the balance Grey's try to find, along with a defense against things such as Force Lightning, blaster fire, and lightsabers. As it was made to be, it gives out a darkside aura, one that will be counterbalanced by the second item. Its shape can be anything from a full gauntlet to a bracer, and anything inbetween.

Some notable forms would be Krest's own take, the first picture. While it does have pointed fingers, the gauntlet is made for defense, and the only use for those would be scratching or clawing someone, not ideal for a main hand weapon.

I always love reading these kinds of threads - the kinds where people actually do the craftsmanship themselves within one. Very informative, I will make a note to use this for a reference in the future.

Approved, pending secondary.
