DESCRIPTION
The Crimson Denominator is a simple, elegant delivery mechanism for bullets tipped with a destructive form of dark matter. Tens of thousands of yearse ago, the Gree Empire had advanced technological applications for dark matter, including power generation. This particular formulation was a byproduct of that power generation technology. Gree artificers found that the byproduct's stability, density, and other characteristics made it a prime choice for certain kinetic weapons technologies.

Several of the Forerunner stasis cocoons contained fully functional Crimson Denominator sidearms and reasonable stocks of ammunition, ushering this technology into the modern universe.
