Cole had been doing more than his fair share of travelling. It would take much more before everything was set in place to reach the level of effectiveness he was looking for. Cole didn't have the ability to rely on the Force, he was hesitant to rely solely of tech. What Cole needed.......what he cared about most was the man or woman beside him in the trench. Ensuring they were the best equipped for the job.

That is what today was about. More than a dozen men and women stood in front of him. Some like Cole in various version of armor and a few taking the first steps into adopting the Mandalorian way of life. Much like he had and in some cases a journey not yet completed. If was for the latter group that Cole had dropped to pure basic for today's schedule.

"Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for coming."

"As some of you are aware we live in trying times." "The Galaxy while never the safest and peaceful place in some areas has...................."

Cole scanned the crowd.

"............shall we say devolved." "Places thought to be safe are now less so." "Our noble neighbors have been shown to be less so as of late." "The Core worlds since the collapse of the Republic and the One Sith in constant upheaval." "We are headed for dark times as proven by the Omega Crisis."

Cole paused.

"You are gathered here because in these times I.................we are going to need as many good soldiers as we can get to meet these dangers." "Tomorrow we will begin selection." "Each of you will be tested, trained, and evaluated for the purposes of establishing a new unit within the Mandalorian Clans."

Cole smiled.

"The Verde be katsunaragr. The Soldiers of Excess................ for those of you already fully adopted into our ways think of it as a cleverly named new Clan." "For those who pass and except the honor we will be your new family."

Cole paused glancing towards Stardust.

"To help in this process I have invited a member of Clan Raxis." "Do not let the pretty fool you she has seen and survived more poodoo than you can imagine." "If she says you don't have it than you don't have it."

Cole smiled.

"Today get to know the man or women to the left and right of you." "Have a drink, share stories, and learn about them." "It will be the last chance to have a bit of fun before selection begins."

She had been invited by [member="Cole Dagos"], probably one of another clan besides a few others she felt she could trust on the battlefield.

She gave a smile standing behind and to the side of Cole, she listened to his speech as she looked among the crowd, lots of people had shown up, her eyes scanned those who wouldn't even survive a minute in a field

She blinked as he mentioned her and stepped forward with a proud smile, she wore her armor as following the reson'lare, sword on her rught with a westar and one of her Sabers, the left held another westar and the other Saber

She looked to Cole and spoke* as he said, get to know those beside you, you may be fighting with them if you make it through * she said emphasizimg that part

Cole smiled turning to Star as people began breaking off into familiar to them groups.

"Predictable lot are they not?" "Automatically seeking out what is familiar to them."

Cole motioned with his head for Star to follow his lead. Cole went to the first group and played a quick mental coin toss before pulling one guy away from that group and pushing him towards a different group. Then he did the same with that group.

"Get to know those you do not." "You can't assume your friends are always going to be the one in the trench with you." "To survive you are going to half to be able to anticipate the actions of a complete stranger." "This is made easier to do if that person is not a stranger."

Cole chuckled as he continued breaking up existing groups into new ones.

She looked around the place as she followed and chuckled

It's instinct, go where you know and avoid the path not traveled same applies withe people as well

She said following what he did and split the groups apart

As he said and I can confirm, i have met people I've not even known at all and I got to know those people in the midst of hell, I've learned how a complete strangers acts, if you can not even get comfy with a stranger you fail...and you best take up a accountant job

Though most might think it be a foolish choice but then again with the growing conflict withing the universe. Along with the many threats and such that came seem from all sides. He knew this would be the right path to take as word of his old acquaintance and ally during past conflicts reach him. Of a call for which he no less answered make his way here.

As he stood within the field along with a varid number of beings from fast places. At which time take the moment pause before the meet commenced. That he glance about in silence watching at the same time observing those present as he soon listens to those who called the meet And at which time he come realize how to seem at odd he'd look compared to them. As most he noted were clothed in quite varied armor....which compared his. Which at best was modest. With only the most vital organs and parts covered by heavy armor that left most his extremities not so much. But then again growing up in the household as he was. Under the strict guidance of his father had all but bore a fairly deep toughness in him. One which with experience and training he'd hope would make him fare a bit better in this task set before him.

And soon when talk been done or over with that they were soon tasked to mingle. In their own way form up into smaller group or such amongst themselves. Which was at best seem not satisfactory to the one that called this assembly ? As he and another soon moved amongst the rank and formed them as he figured they see fit.
As he was then watch as he got closer and few being beside him was nudge aside to form other squad or groups he press,ed.
