- Material:
- Decreases Weight — This simple device can manipulate gravity to decrease a material's weight by twenty-percent. The Grav Bolt can be installed in buildings and vessels to decrease the load that structural elements need to bear.
- Versatile Application — The Grav Bolt could be used in the construction of anything from a personal suit to a skyscraper.
- Electromagnetic Pulse — The Grav Bolt can be knocked-out with an electromagnetic pulse. This can cause some projects which are under the direct strain of gravity to collapse from the sudden increase in weight.
The Grav Bolt were invented sometime during the Great Manifest Period. Their original manufacturer has been forgotten in the passage of time. However, archaelogical studies have pin-pointed their origin to Coruscant, where the earliest example of their use can be found -- a skycraper that was built around 19,800 ABY. Several millennia later the Grav Bolt would be among the first products that the Federal Cooperative would manufacture.
