DESCRIPTION
With a retractable face plate that slides into place over the nose and mouth of the user, laser reflective armour that is stored at the top of the spine, when the helmet is triggered to activate, the armour slides into place almost immediately, though it tends to be claustrophobic in nature and is meant to be used the moment Graush senses notable danger, but is incapable of detecting which direction it originates. This mode, also happens to maintain a hermetic seal.

Following the laser reflective armour slides, once they're in place, there is one of two things that can occur: the energy shield is activated, freeing the user of the claustrophobia, activating the combat HUD and the other systems that the helmet utilizes. The integrated energy shield protects the user exceptionally well from blaster bolts and appears to protect sufficiently well against slugthrowers and other types of kinetic harm, though when it comes into contact with the focused power of a lightsabre, it's construct is suspected to become undone, and there being little in the form of a 'glancing hit.' While the arkanian shield is active, it is also hermetically sealed against the dangers of space and water.

Due to the helmet being specifically made for the suit of armour that A'sharad Graush sports, the helmet also draws from the power cells of the armour. Due to this, sustained damage to the energy shield also drains the 'battery' so to speak, like most systems within the Power Armour do.

This looks like a pretty solid submission.

Arkanian Energy Shield

Tell me a little bit more about this. How long does this shield last? How strong is it?

You can give us rough answers on this, though if you want to be more precise, but all means, go for it.

The helmet would be connected to this armour.

The armour has its own rechargeable power cells, etc, the works to be an efficient power armour.

The shield lasts a few hours, for as long as the armour lasts. When that's out of power, the most it can do is activate the protective metal slides.

Cool, please make a note in the submission that it is dependent on the armor for power. I would also note that like all energy shields, the shield can be brought down by sustained damage.

[member="Asharad Graush"], looks good. I just did a once over, and realized that it's missing the Production heading:

  • Production: (The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (Only A Handful of Characters), Limited (Only A Select Group Of NPCs/PCs), Minor (Any Character, Only Select Groups Of NPCs), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) For armor utilizing restricted materials please review their production limits here.)
Put that in, and we should be good to go.
