Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
@Brea

The edge of the unknown regions was not a place one normally went and as Sala'dine was in the patrol destroyer. She looked out from the viewport, they were in stealth mode, formed as a wedge and it wasn't often they ventured into the unknown regions this close to chiss space. Which was important. The chiss were many things and had opened up a little more since they were first discovered but really aside from meeting some engineers in wild space she never visited their Ascendancy. So watching as they dropped out of hyperspace on the edge and remained at the ready, a small friendly9 beacon to announce them to the patrols so it didn't look like they were invading or coming to cause problems.

"Admiral everything is ready." The bridge officer said, one fo the chiss who had worked with her since the days of the first sith empire out of the darkness. Assigned by Cavill to spy on the non force using members for the inquisition... well she was also the one who had gotten the injured Grand Admiral out of harms way, taken her to a cloning facility and worked with the chiss engineers there to repair the Judgement. Her star destroyer at the time. In exchange for that they had given her a newer, younger body that had its own benefits and she used it for things like this heading out in search of ancient technologies within imperial facilities and locations. She was always looking for help from engineers and getting direct help from the chiss would mean she could benefit.

"Good, we'll wait here for one of their patrols and hopefully all will go well, if they don't want to come with us well we can do it on our own, we'll just have to take a little longer and means we'll need to make some extra room in the ships cargo bays." She got nods from her crew while they were looking over at some fo the things they were working on. THe crew were all professional and trained so the Admiral was more then comfortable leaving them around, the quasi stormtroopers, former ones who had kept some parts of their armor but were in marine armpor for the ships looked on. No helmets but they had visors for selective targeting and assistance, better weapons and for now they were all going around the ship to protect it and make sure the three destroyers were armed and at the ready.

After about fifteen minutes a single fighter leaves hyperspace, hovering a few hundred meters away from the fleet. The Nssis-Class Clawcraft, with its distinct curvatures and imperial cockpit, seemed to glare angrily at the intruders. Brae, who was piloting the craft, stared inquisitively and cautiously at the strangers. She was not assigned patrol duty, yet she pitched in whenever she was back in Ascendancy space, and the long quiet rides through the void helped her think, and this was unusual to say the least.

After a few more minutes of just staring at them she decides to reach up and flip a switch in the cramped fighter to turn on her communicator, and then speaks "This is Admiral Brae'owiawo'theyirir of the Chiss Ascendancy, no fleet is allowed to enter or traverse Chiss space without prior permission from the Ascendancy, lower your defenses and prepare for my fighter to dock on your lead ship." and with that she turned communications off, not interested in their reply, she'll know it soon enough.

The Fighter moved forwards on Brae's command, heading towards the lead ship. Hopefully, her title of Admiral did not make her look like a fool, as a single fighter claiming to be an admiral was almost comedy. Yet the Ascendancy had yet to give her a fleet as they focused on revitalizing citizen infrastructure and the fleet she was in charge of for Clan Australis was being outfitted. So she was here, alone, with her private ship.

The Beast, who was Brae's 'indentured servant' and bodyguard shifted uncomfortably in the added seat in the back. He was used to the open deserts of tatooine, constantly moving, and having his feet on sturdy ground, space flight had none of those things and it made him nervous.

She looked at the single fighter and there was a part of her that wanted to be insulted at the... was this disrespect that they didn't think her merited more then a single craft. It was more ego then everything while she motioned for them and opened the hanger. "Let them into the ship and lets work on this then." A grin was on her face where she might be able to work on a few of the things. Sala'dine was moving to meet her in the hanger while she looked at the doors itself and her group was standing at the ready to receive before she looked on. Fixing her hat as she looked on. The skylar material compression and designed to adhere to the body but it could function as a vacsuit should they need it. THere was also a few things from outside of the space but being here they were just outside of the borders until she was moving and prepared to check on it. "Welcome to the Hand of Judgement."

The fighter docks after the necessary arrangements had been made, the ship seems to be in good repair, the metal shines with a cleanliness of constant care and the engines and other visible technology seems to be much more advanced than the old fighters of the same model.

As the hatch opens, Brae steps out with The Beast in tow. Her hands folded behind her back and her chin lifted with the stereotypical Chiss dignity and superiority. She wears an oddly familiar white uniform, resembling that of the great Chiss Admiral Thrawn, however, this suit has obviously been custom tailored to her proportions and needs. Her hair is well groomed, and everything else about her from her boots, belt, and badges radiates business and the official nature that Brae has boarded this ship for.

Her tusken bodyguard however is very different, the hulking form of the raider towers a few inches above the already tall Chiss. He carries his club with a general readiness to use it, and seems tense, cautious even.

Upon being addressed Brae glances around the ship skeptically before looking at the woman who spoke "You're on the border of Chiss space-" she pauses, as she finishes her inspection "Why?" she asks bluntly, raising her eyebrows as if expecting something uninteresting and not worth her time.

"Well it would have been hostile and rude to just enter." She said it standing there and stepped forward looking at the woman... seeing her bodyguard but she kept herself looking at those red eyes with a small internal smirk to herself but her exterior was serious. "I am Admiral Ori, a friend of the Aristocra ruling family Csapla." She said it with a look on her face though. She had worked with them. "I normally would meet them well away though. We share any advances in technology that have been made and if their engineers can improve upon it they share prototypes." She said it and a deal like that on the surface made sense but outside of the unknown regions it was easier. The influx of chiss going to groups like the first order or empire meant likely her contacts were busy with other things. Still Sala'dine held a hand out. "I have stim tea if you would like Admiral based on that uniform."

"I was unaware that the Aristocra dealt with outsiders.. Desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose" It is unclear whether Brae meant this as an insult, and this vagueness was fully intentional on her part. "Tea would be appreciated." Blunt and to the point, that is how Brae planned on handling this, no need for her usual methods.

Brae strode towards [member="Sala'dine"] , filled with confidence, yet her eyes once again scan the room as if expecting a sniper, or other nefarious means that she might meet her doom. The Beast follows behind her, his attempt to look around the room to check for dangers is less discrete, his head swiveling and he even walks backward as he checks behind them, Brae ignores him.

She was watching her with a look on her face. "WOuld it damn me or endear me to mention that there are at least two weapons trained on you. I have dealt with a good number of military talents Admiral and while I could show strength, I rather enjoy the help your government and ruling families provide me. Searching for ancient technology and reverse engineering it for mutual benefit." She was walking and leading the way to a ready room, set up for meetings with displays of the hyperspace tracker, advanced navigational computer and we have developed new skylar material for vac suits and uniforms. It is protective." She said it with a grin on her face though sitting down and pouring some of the tea for her. "I do hope we can work to a mutual agreement Admiral. I do want to continue to work with the Ascendancy."

"I guessed you had at least one, but would it damn me or endear me if I was trying to think of ways I could kill you and use you as a human shield should one of them try to take me out?" She couldn't help but smirk at her own smug comment before giving a dismissive shrug "APEX Technologies can act as a more official mediary between you and the Chiss worlds, I think you'll find some of our top scientists are working for me." The luck of randomly encountering such a potentially beneficial outside source was incredible, and she couldn't help but let a sly smirk spread across her lips as she followed [member="Sala'dine"]

"It is all in the wound, little knick and slice to the gut will make your shield alive but not wanting to struggle." She offered a smirk but got some fo the tea for her and flicked an eye back at the beast. "Does he... Need anything?" She was curious while speaking but the aspect of this Apex industries was something that she could do. Putting the tea over to her and taking a drink from her own to show no problems. "Well that would be something wonderfully helpful. Certainly having friends within the chiss aside from just a few that might be on my ship." She pointed with her chin as a pair were working in the hanger running the scans of their fighters and shuttles. "Can we get you any food Admiral Brae'owiawo'theyirir?" She would have preferred a name but Brae'owiawo'theyirir was a mouthful and she would say core name but they were not in the core."

"No, Beast will be fine. And I still don't trust you, so no food for me." She dismisses, glancing over at the 'traitors' working on her ship before cupping her tee gingerly and bringing it to her lips, taking a small sip as if to test it, then smelling it, and trying to see if it has any coloration differences. After she decides that she isn't being poisoned.. yet, she takes a long sip, sitting and folding her legs "APEX is probably your best connection to Csilla, but what makes us want to deal with you? What do you have to offer APEX Technologies?" She inquires, watching the woman from over the rim of her teacup, letting the steam float up and over her face

She brought a hand up to her chest and gave a look. "You wound me admiral." A smirk appearing on her face though to show she was kidding somewhat.. Chiss were some of the least trusting beings she knew but they were also trusting in the long run that you will do something eventually. That came as she motioned. "Well for things we can offer, the hyperspace tracking computers and advanced navigational computers. Put them on your ships and with your knowledge of the unknown regions it will be far superior going through here then for a number of other groups." She said it while looking at her. "Plus I do have some older locations for imperial technologies. Molecular furnaces could be a benefit or some fo the half finished projects."

"Yes, technology would be appreciated... but money is really where APEX Technologies could use your assistance. The Chiss aren't one for money." she points out, seeming quite irritated by this. "Consider it a down payment, invest in APEX and we'll invest in you, help recover this tech you mentioned, split it fifty fifty." This may sound like a proposal at first, but the way Brae tilts her head and raises her eyebrows makes it seem more like she's setting terms, or making a demand. Although she was taking a hardline approach to this, she had to admit to being incredibly interested at the possibility of salvaging old Imperial tech, perhaps even find some of Thrawn's old playthings, finding something of Thrawn would certainly help cement her as a possible successor after all..

"If it is credits you want... then we can get you credits Admiral." She gave a look at her though and ofered a genuine smile. If investing in Apex was what she wanted well meeting those terms was going to be more then easy enough to do. THe admiral waited for a moment in case there was more and when there wasn't but the Chiss seemed to be thinking about something. Sala'dine spoke watching and looking at her. "Though if we are going to do this, hunt down and find ancient technologies, split the take, have adventures. Admiral Brae'owiawo'theyirir there must be something shorter I can call you. A name like that is a mouthful for humans."

Brae gives the admiral a near look of pity before taking another sip of tea "Brae, you may call me Brae, that's what the other outsiders call me anyway." She wasn't too pleased about having to use this nickname, yet it probably would end up being far more efficient. "I assume sums are not an issue for you or whatever group you may represent, so how much will you be investing?"

She looked at her and smiled for herself though. "Very well Admiral Brae, Sasori who funds most of the research can offer what we have here. Thirty aurodium ingots more then enough to get most deals started." She said it and it wasn't Sasori's credits, more what they had on the ship for back up in case big repairs were needed and no where near an outpost or drydock. She moved up and opened one of the modular storage bays as different currencies wer there, nova crystals, durindfire crystals, kyber crystals for those who really wanted something invaluable, small pouches of the ingots that were some fo the most valuable with three being accepted as three billion generally and they were small enough to hold a pouch in your pocket. Sala'dine took it out and she looked over at Brae sitting the pouches on the table with a grin on her face. "I am looking forward to this, so do you want to use our communications or your own. We have the coordinates to a world the Imperials used for storing data."

"I trust my own communication network than your own." Brae points out shrewdly as she finishes her tea, sliding it to the center of the table, as she does so she stares at the bags of ingots, biting her lower lip as she realizes just how much she needs those little bags. She then reaches her hand over her shoulder and lets it hang there as if waiting for something. After a few more seconds the Tusken gets the que, shuffles around in his belt/bags and then places a data-pad in her hand. Brae's eyes drift to him with a small flare of anger and irritation in her eyes before she takes the datapad and begins typing away "I'll have my guys send contracts to your guys, so you can pretend to look over them and sign them."

She gave her a grin, wider then she intended but oh this one.. this one was a treat and she was there looking over it. "Of course, formalities and paperwork aside. I am rather giddy you could say about this admiral, new people and you have someone who raises such questions." She left a few things unsaid.. mostly wondering what she might have gotten up to stuck in a small fighter with such a large brute but the admiral was moving with a hand behind her back. She moved her hair out of the way to start heading back towards the bridge. "When you are ready to join me admiral Brae... I'll be on the bridge preparing for the jump. Where we are going I'd recommend having your weapons nice and ready."

Brae doesn't respond, letting the Admiral go about her business after a few minutes of quiet reflection Brae heads to her fighter retrieving a small kit, and a belt with a blaster pistol holstered on it. The Beast is already armed with his club, and a rifle hidden under his layers of clothing which don't seem to bother him at all.

Upon gathering her kit, she makes sure everything is in order before finding the bridge, and ultimately finding [member="Sala'dine"]

"Where are we heading first Admiral?" she grunts, glancing around the bridge, appraising its worth.

Sala'dine stood there with a look on her face when the woman arrived and she waited a moment. Noting the blaster and crossed her arms over her chest. "To the observatory it had computers with the locations of the other outposts and a number of information... but that isn't the prize. I want to find the designs for the supremacy." As far as she had seen the first order, the new first order... so wouldn't they be the second order.... hadn't looked for the designs to bring one fo the largest ships within the galaxy to the forefront. She wanted to have the mobile drydock and factory for a fleet. Moving it around and resupplying, repairing. "I am looking to get what Grand Admiral Sloane found. The designs for fleet ships using kyber crystals to augment their weapons is promising." SHe said it and had respect for her within the sith empire under Cavill she had been a Grand Admiral until they were betrayed and she and Kisep the other injured. The Chiss had saved and given them new bodies but a smirk was on her face.

Brae remains silent for a few minutes, staring at her in shock before leaning forward and tilting her head a tad "You're telling me that these plans have been within Chiss space this entire time?" Her hand comes up to pinch the bridge of her nose, thinking how much a ship like that would have helped them in the past few years, not to mention what other technology is locked away in that vault. It takes her a second to calm down before she straightens up again "I assume we both will be getting a copy of any data found?"
