Description: The Glory Heavy Cruiser is based off of the centuries' old Majestic-Class Heavy Cruiser. With its compact size, yet fast speed, it even bares some semblance to the aforementioned ship. Focusing on Long-Range and medium range damage, like the Majestic's thickly armoured plates, the Glory maintains that similarity so as to stand up to close-range firepower against much larger ships, those likely being Star Destroyers.

With there being a large amount of Star Destroyers and larger Heavy Cruisers, the Glory's maneuverability, speed, weaponry, and defense were built specifically to combat them. Ranging from outpacing them, to outmaneuvering them, and to match them in damage due to the aforementioned, the Glory is the perfect vessel for Capital ship killing.

Despite its strengths in ship versus ship combat, it holds many weaknesses due to its head to head tendencies. Starting at its lack of starfighters, should a single Glory be found alone, the potential of being overwhelmed merely by bombers and starfighters is great. Even if the Glory were to destroy an opposing ship, most fighters tend to carry a heavy ordnance payload, and are capable of performing massive amounts of damage across a Glory's hull. Then there's the lack of its aft weaponry. Should another, smaller, or more maneuverable ship got the drop upon the Glory, the ship would be incapable of defending itself, or returning the damage it receives.

hey very Klingon looking, nice pic. So you have speed and maneuvering decreased by 3 each with nothing to balance it out. Standard for a heavy cruiser is 15. While no hanger is a weakness it is not really a weakness for a heavy cruiser per the heavy cruiser standard template Example. Rear fire arc weakness helps so does the flak but your still dropping speed and maneuvering way low for a ship this size.

so my recommendations are as follows
If your just set on having the armament and defense higher then we can discuss some development work.

with speed and maneuvering 12 at mass production
lower armament to 14 and defense to 14 to balance the increase in speed and maneuvering.


with speed and maneuvering 12 at minor production,
make armament 14 and defense 15

with speed and maneuvering 12 at limited production,
Make armament 15 and defense 16
