Giana was forced to become self-reliant at a young age, since her parents had died. Although she is tough and reliable, she can be
immature at times as anybody her age is.
Giana is quick to jump to the aid of the defenseless or weak, with little thought of reward to herself. However, much like the world
she lives in, she occasionally steals from others without consideration for their situation, and denies it if caught. Giana is capricious; Able to switch from selfless to selfish in a matter of seconds. She is self-aware, and acknowledges that sometimes she can be morally grey.
At first, Gi is very cynical of others. But once you become her friend, she is fiercely loyal. She enjoys music quite a bit, and although
she doesn’t want to admit it, she likes to read. She is persistent, and never quits. Giana can be passionate, and once she’s for something, she will fight for it to possibly the death.
One thing Giana hates is being controlled. It disgusts her beyond belief, and if anybody tries to control her, she harshly fights
against them. She honestly has no filter and can be found saying some pretty foul words, but they can be justified.
Biography:
Giana was born to Mandalorian parents who were smugglers/mercenaries. She was born and raised in the clan, but made a break for the Jedi once she got the chance. They cared for their baby girl, but her parents weren't always with her when they wanted to be. Even though they had a baby to take care of, they were out, picking up bounties and earning money to feed and raise their family.
Anytime her parents got the chance, they were with their child, taking care of her and making sure she was happy. They were shady people outwards when they were not in the safety of their home, due to making a huge mistake with the Sith, creating a large bounty on the family's head, but when they were home, they were some of the kindest people you could ever meet. By the time Giana was pre-school/kindergarten age, they started teaching her simple math problems and helped her work her way up as she grew older into more complicated things, making her smarter. Her mother taught her how to fight, and her father handled the studying, since he was a math genius.
And it wasn't much longer until they found her to be force sensitive. They tried to put her into training to keep her force powers under control at an early age, but were unable to. So instead once she became older, they would have her homeschooled to train herself on how to control her powers without any help. Unfortunately, it caused a few problems for her and the family, but they managed. Her parents knew the Sith were definitely not the way to go for her, but the Jedi would be perfect for her. So instead of keeping her homeschooled, they put her into the Jedi, which also helped take care of Giana while her parents were out. But when they were home, Giana was sent home to spend time with her parents.
Not too long after her seventh birthday, her parents were out and found some suspicious activity going on in town. They then decided to go investigate. In a few short moments, blaster fire was shot off and before you knew it, it was an all out war with two troublemakers and Giana's parents. And old friend of theirs was nearby and heard the blaster fire. He decided to go check it out until the sound of blaster shots came to a slow. He peeked around the corner and the young male smuggler, gasped before running off to Giana's.
He made his trek to their home and a nanny answered the door. Not too much later, he was taken to the young Giana and he told her everything that happened. He was very nervous to tell her as he knew what she would be able to be capable of by now. Upon hearing about her parents' death, she was stunned and then she left the table they sat at, went to her room, packed her essentials and jumped out her window, running away. Her nanny and the friend followed her to her room, but she had locked it to make sure no one could stop her. As soon as she packed her backpack, she jumped the window and then sprinted for town.
The young smuggler stopped dead when he couldn't open the door, but a second later, his hands were fumbling for something to open the door.. his blaster. Picking up his blaster from his holster, sighing and then blasting the lock. He then pushed the door open and found an open window, and no Giana. After she left, she found a job as a mercenary being the youngest to join, but grew up there, learning the ways of a mercenary and hiding her powers she feared, inside of her.
When Giana turned 16, she became an independent mercenary/smuggler, working for whomever she chooses. Remembering the bounty on her family's head, she always messed with them, but she continued hiding her powers, one, to keep her cover, but two, she feared if she revealed them, some people had direct contact with the Sith and would expose her in half a second.
Not long after she turned 18, Giana decided she'd had enough of being a low life mercenary and returned to the Jedi, finishing the rest of her training and becoming a knight. Now she is 19 and searches for adventure and thrills.
