Ghost Prison

Diab System
The Prism

For months she had been training with Skein, honing her abilities in preparation for her return to the wider galaxy. His mission was for her to travel to the lower level of the facility to use the only holoterminal capable of communicating with those beyond Diab. The terminal was secure and restricted the wardens so that Skein would be able to maintain communication with the Jedi Council. For someone to access it and not be authorized would place the facility on lockdown and turn the security droids hostile.

The Togruta had only one shot, if someone were able to receive her distress call she could have a chance of escaping the prison. However, time would be against her...because if she did access the terminal she would only have a certain amount of time before she was fending for her life against 100 security droids.

------------------------------------------

The turbolift that led to the lower level was jammed...the power was completely gone. She approached the door as it sat rusted and slightly opened to which she could see nothing but darkness on the inside. She took a deep breath, and exhaled before using her hands to grasp both sides of the door. With the strength she had she began to push in opposite direction forcing the shaft open.

A warm gust of air rushed upwards, as the light from behind her illuminated only a portion of the machine. She leaned her head inward and looked down to see nothing but darkness. She slowly tilted her head upward to see the stuck turbolift just a few feet above her. Using the force she manipulated the object by pulling it down forcing it to collapse on itself. She jolted her head backwards so she would get hit and she felt the air rushing past her as gravity brought the machine down and past her at high speeds.

She heard it collapse, and the collision didn't sound to far down which means she was only a few floors up. taking a deep breath she jumped down the shaft, and began to fall as gravity took her. Keeping her composure she threw her right foot back with precise timing that pushed her forward through the entrance to the lower level. She landed in a roll and came into a kneel. She used her lightsaber to illuminate the area around her.

Led by her senses she had been traveling for over an hour, there were no signs of life...Finally hitting the corridor that Skein mentioned, she turned left and approached the door. She destroyed the old computer that controlled access to the door and sprinted in down the spiraled halls that led to the terminal ahead.

Minutes after she began the process of sending her distress signal...May the force be with her.

Veleon had escaped his homeworld of Serenno. He had finally left the place of his birth, the land of his ancestors. He was finally out in the galaxy and away from the things that plagued him from the time he was young until now. No longer was he subject to the scheming of other noble families. No longer was he threatened with the possible marriage of alliance to an inexperienced girl that did not know him. No longer was he a puppet for his mother to move as she wished for the sake of her goals and ambitions. He was free now, and he wished to take advantage of it. So now he was just exploring idly around with no real destination in mind.

As he was doing this, he had found himself near the Diab system. There were energy storms raging all around, and it would be suicide to enter them without some clue or hint as to where you were going. Even then though, it was still highly ill advised. No scanners in space was as much of a death sentence as a blaster bolt through the heart. So that was where Veleon was at when he had a very weak distress call come through. That was odd, but it was what was happening right now. So he took a look at it out of curiosity and was surprised that it was from within the storm. That meant something was in there, and someone was trapped. Perhaps this would be worth his time to look into, or perhaps it would be the death of him. He knew not which it would be, but it was worth the chance at finding out. So he got his ship moving towards the storm, and got himself ready to rely upon the force to get him through it safely.
