GENERAL INFORMATION

COMBAT INFORMATION
• Availability: Common
• Deployment: Mass
• Strengths
Mandalorian Training: While the Red Legion may have not been born Mandalorian for years they fought alongside and trained with the height of the Mandalorian War machine. Some even became part of the Ori'ramikade in their own special unit. Now their training serves them well as professional mercenaries
• Strength in Numbers: The Red Legion is one of the largest groups in the Shreik-Hawk Mercenary Company. While the Company doesn't have any set uniform, the Red Legion has kept their old armor creating their own. They have the numbers to overwhelm enemies as they are a mostly in tact group coming directly from the old Mandalorian Military.
• Love of the People: Despite their profession, prior to their work as Mercs the Red Legion was a military branch of the Mandalorian Military coming from groups and planets throughout Mandalorian Space. They were lead directly by Gilamar Skirata during his reign as Mand'alor and as such were well received on their home planets. Their continued humanitarian work in events like the Dark Harvest and the Vanishings have captured the hearts of men, women, and children everywhere and they are mostly welcomed and honored guests.

[*]Weaknesses:
• Outdated Gear: The Red Legion are slaves to their nostalgia. Though the Red Force Commando armor and Red Force Battle Armors are decent, because they have been discontinued maintenance is difficult to keep up with and repairs are slow making some long-term deployments hell for the soldiers on the ground.
• More Mouths To Feed: Because of SHMC's own policies on how to handle groups and group pay most of the members of the Red Legion make substantially less than other smaller groups or individuals in the merc company. This means most of the main operations they do are long and drawn out deployments and it means that their large numbers are divided up, cutting their overall efficiency in order to get the credits they need to survive and pay the bills.

[*]Description: Originally two separate groups in the Mandalorian military, the Red Legion saw their start as conscripted soldiers from throughout Mandalorian Space. These soldiers acted as a tax cut for poorer worlds and a way for independent planets who refused to become Mandalorian a way to protect themselves from pirates and unfair Mandalorian laws. Eventually they became one of the main forces on the battlefield for the Mandalorian war machine even allowing some to become truly "Mandalorian" in the process. The two groups were the Ge'tal Dabida Ramikad and the Red Legion Main Force. The prior was a branch of the Mandalorian Supercommandos given special training and access to special missions and tech. The second was just your average foot soldier task force. After the Sith Wars ended and Gilamar Skirata was thought to be dead, the Red Legion and the Ori'ramikade (and by extension the Ge'tal Dabida Ramikad) were all but disbanded. After Gil's return and start up of the Mercs huge numbers of the Red Legion and the Commando unity came to work for the company. Often times they are hired as body guards to diplomats, disaster relief, armed guards and long drawn out skirmishes against pirates and other such groups.
